Greg Hardy Is Seeking A Contract Extension

Trade Hardy now for a 2nd round pick. Hope Jarvis Jones continues to fall into the 2nd or 3rd, and pick him up. Cut Beason if he doesn't restructure. Go into the season with Davis/Kuechly/Jones at LB and Johnson/Alexander at DE. Sign a couple contributors with the money we save from Beason.

We don't save any money from Beason if he's cut.

I kinda like the rest of your post though.

I literally can't believe my eyes when reading "trade hardy" by you dummies. Are you f-ing serious?! After this season when Hardy has 15 sacks, we will lock him up long term. Dropping Deangelo and Gross before 2014 season will give the Panthers room to sign Hardy and draft a left tackle.

No we will not. Cam's contract is coming up.

Johnson and Hardy aren't going anywhere. They are the reason our secondary wasn't torched last year and the reason the Panthers won't draft corner in the first 2 rounds. Josh Thomas and Josh Norman will look like pro bowlers next year because of the pass rush.

With what? Fug him if he's going to pull such a selfish move at this time. Let him walk and replace him after the season with Alexander. He thinks he's going to get CJ money after one good season, while we can't even resign Munnerlyn.

Alexander has proven nothing.

You trade a player like Hardy for 2 reasons if you are the Panthers.

1) You likely can't afford him and CJ on together. You have a promising DE in Alexander. Finally, Hardy has really value right now as a young DE coming off a sensational year.

2) You need the extra picks anyway.
