Jesse "Crocodile Dundee" Williams

S. Williams and B. Williams can do both. So can Hankins (when on point).

Brandon Williams plays at a much lower level than Jesse. I'm sure Jesse would kill the QBs of the teams that Brandon played against.

John Hankins does not have any pass rush skills either, and is definitely not a 3 down player with that motor of his.

And isn't Sylvester a 3 tech DT?

One game? Great...

Kris Jenkins had the best from both worlds, remember? How about Ngata? Or Wilfork?

All three of those guys are once in a generation prospects lol...

Jesse is a huge upgrade over anything we have and has potential to be at the same level as the guys you listed.

Think about what he was asked to do at Bama too. Those pro day numbers certainly suggest he can get up the field and apply pressure. Plus he has some great game tape against some of the top competition in college football.

I'm not saying he would be my first round pick, but i wouldn't be mad if I heard his name called either.

If they were "once in a generation" they wouldn't have been picked in the late first-early second rounds, suh on the other hand was definitely a once in a generation prospect. That's not to take anything away from those guys as they were all great players and mostly still are but I don't agree that they were once in a generation prospects.

And I agree also that Jesse would be a huge upgrade over what we have, and so would a lot of other top DTs in this draft as well but I think Jesse fits what we need most.

One of my favorite prospects that I have going to us in the second round, Jesse Williams, has just locked himself up as a first rounder. Maybe even a top 15 pick.

The 320 pound man child from Aussie just backed up his athleticism with a 4.7 forty yard dash at Bamas pro day. Not to mention he is capable of benching 600 pounds. Just unreal.

I pray to god that Dwanatron re-signs and we can draft Jesse to play NT. I would help Ryan Kalil write another Super Bowl guarantee.

so you say now you had him going in the second round but in this thread mocked me for having him as a second round pick? cool bro

When I made mock (a month after yours) Jesse's stock had quietly taken a dive due to his position and the fact that he didn't get to blow up the combine like I expected.

But with these results at his pro day it really shoes his potential, which will sky rocket his stock making him a first round lock.

Do you want to talk about him as a prospect or throw a bitch fit?

Williams is a freak but there's no way he's going in the top 15. There are better prospects than him at NT (Star, Hankins, Jenkins) and THOSE guys are already slipping. Not to mention he offers nothing on passing downs. He won't collapse pockets like the guys above him can.

If we go NT much rather have Jenkins.

Whoa whoa whoa....where in the hell are you hearing Hankins and Jenkins are better than Williams??

Star is the only one that might have a slight edge but he has a heart condition that might scare teams away.

I post a thread trying to talk about a prospect who could become as possibility as our first pick and I'm a dick...nice.

Let me guess, next I will get something for being from LA or being a Laker fan like always? Come on, it happens every day, someone's gonna stoop to that level, kids are starting to get out of school just about now.

Uh, Scouts? i'm not going to lie an said've done my homework on hte NTs of this draft, but I did look up JW since everyone seemed to love him here. A lot of places say he offers nothing on passing own (oes not mean teams expet him to be a pass rusher) an mostly a two down NT. Strong as hell an gifted in run stuffing though. I've seen hime everywhere from late round 1-early round 3.

I'd take him over Hankins though. Don't trust OSU D-linemen.
