Panthers showing some interest in Antoine Cason(signed by the Cardinals)

He ranked #108 at the CB position this past season.

However, he did have his 3 best years under Rivera (which were his first 3 years in the league). In 2010, his final season with Rivera, Cason ranked #11 at the CB position. Once Rivera left, he went downhill, as did the rest of the SD defense.

It'd be nice to see if the 2010 version of Cason shows up if reunited with Rivera.

(rankings are according to PFF)

I hate the rankings and statistics. I really wish for people to just quit trying to use these ranks to prove an argument, statemet, or opinion. If someone can ball, they can ball. Let their performance on the field decide if they're good or not. I know Cason is pretty good on the field.

Oh my god, PLEASE SIGN CASON!!!!

Full disclosure, I'm a university of Arizona alumni and was in school when he played for us and I've been dying to get a former Wildcat on the Panthers

And for those who don't know when Sports Illustrated didt their NCAA 2000's All Decade team, he was one of the two cornerbacks selected to the team
