No offense but SC folks don't know poo about BBQ

Going to the store right now to pick up a Boston Butt.

Will fire up the smoker in the morning and cook that thing for 12 hours over apple and oak.

I'm telling you guy don't judge the rock store in Stallings by the ones in Mint Hill, Marshville etc. My girlfriends father works at the one in Stallings, I eat there all the time, as have I tried the others, not even close to the same for some reason. I did notice the ones in the other locations seemed to be run by a bunch of teenagers and what not, whereas the one in Stallings is actually run by adults, maybe that is what makes the difference. I don't know if they have different sauce mixes at the different stores but I know the vinegar I have tried(not for my taste, dont like spicy food) is very spicy to me. The pork BBQ at the one in Stallings is very very good, but their brisket and ribs are absolutely amazing.

Eastern: vinegar pepper

Lexington: thin vinegar pepper with ketchup and sugar added.

Western...found mainly in the mountains: thick sweet sauce like Kraft...similar to Memphis style sauces

The Rock Store BBQ is the best BBQ in Charlotte(Stallings) in my opinion.

Driven past it many times. Never knew it was that good.

Gonna have lunch there tomorrow now.
