Falcons Sign Stephen Jackson

Why in the world would we "use" them more than we do? We're trying to win football games.

The problem is that one of them shouldn't be here. Not only could we take the finances to address one of out many bleeding positions, you'd also see the two that remain have their statistics be more reflective of their actual impact.

Tell the Saints defense that... people laugh at the notion that Jackson might be washed up but assume DeAngelo must be washed up based on his production, regardless of how many opportunities he's getting and how crappy our playcalling and offensive line is.

It's also important to remember that Jackson has a lot of mileage on his odometer and when it's over for a RB, it's over... and it happens overnight. One morning they wake up and they don't have it anymore.

For Jackson, that morning could come any day now - for all we know it may have been this morning.

He's still an incredible running back though.

Those tires may not have a shitload of tread left on them but you are mistaken if you don't think he can keep it going for another strong year or two. See: Corey Dillon

Falcons a serious Super Bowl contender next year.

Oh I'm not saying he can't, I'm just saying...

Falcons need to find a pass rush before they can be considered a serious SB contender IMO.

This can go 2 ways: It puts a rocket up Panther's arse and we go gung ho this offseason..

or

we continue to not do anything, let others get better, and have a poo season.

I think I see whats coming...

I feel your pain but thers not much we can do with little cap space and not knowing wether key vets are willing to restructure...

It just amazes me that for such a mediocre team, we're so bad in regards to the cap. One of the worst in finances, one of the worst in the league play. It hurts. And I love the Panthers. Seeing that picture of all 32 team's cap figures does it in for me. When will it end :(
