I really don't put much stock in the scare tactics of the local politicians, plus LA is having big issues over funding for an NFL stadium. I really think JR does have a succession plan that involves tying the team to Charlotte, but he's just vindictive enough not to let anyone but his attorney know.

The bill isn't good news, it's a power play by the politicians in Raleigh to effectively block any further proposals from being considered by passing a bill that would provide much less than what was requested at the expense of other important resources in Charlotte.

There's no better example of Raleigh's inferiority complex when it comes to Charlotte than this stadium funding battle.

I certainly respect your opinion, CM and agree with you to a point. I think most of the grown ups on this board knew all along that Raleigh was not going to fork over $62 million in state revenue.
