I thought they were at 7. And every Tannabaum keeps saying denver doesn't have money. I'm going by that.

i don't care what Tannabaum says, and after all the signing they have done I don't know what their cap situation is currently like but as of march 1st Denver was $16m under the cap go look in the other free agency thread someone's posted the as of 3/1/2013 numbers

Gettleman can sign someone if he wants them bad enough. Draft pick costs don't matter until late summer and even then their cost shouldn't be more than $4 to $5 million. We have $4 in space now and he could easily clear a few million more if desired.

Remember than Flacco's monster deal only carries a cap charge of $6.8 this year, so a lot can be done with little money.

Rookie's will cost 4-5 million. Anderson's cap space that comes avaliable June 1 won't be enough for them.

Right now we have almost 4.....and lost our starting CB, starting nickel CB, both starting DTs and still need at least 1 starting S. We also need a starting RG. Those are just basic needs, not even getting into the type needs like WR that aren't a glaring hole today.

We need more room to function in FA and sign out draft picks.....Gettlemen still has a mess to deal wtih before he signs a name we have heard.

no trust no one and think for yourself, I know the numbers because I looked them up myself, and honestly the fact that you are even trying to argue this means you have a total lack of understanding of how a salary cap works.

a team going into the league year must be under the captor that entire league year(march2013-march2014), it doesn't matter what next years numbers(2014-2015) look like only this year. The fact that Denver has been signing big name players like Welker before the draft is all the proof I need that I'm right and you are wrong.

This is the part that is starting to concern me. We cut all of these pieces and still have MINIMAL cap room. It's not looking good for next year just based on this alone. I realize the players have to play and anything can happen. Young players can step up. But man Marty really fuged us.

I heard Clowney was a very very good pass rushing DE, but can he also play WR, DT, FS, CB and RG?

He will be great but pass rushing DE is one position we do not have a need at....

This guy is trying to imply we will have the #1 pick again.

2 times to make a run a FAs.

Now, overpay for the big names AND right before the season starts when teams cut vets in favor of youth the they is ready.

I think a Gross restructure and DWill cut puts us in position to fix out holes right before the season starts.
