Goldson to Bucs

Let's try to make this seem like it was a BAD MOVE for the Bucs.

Keep coming up with more funny excuses.

i think the money thrown was bad, but it's not a "bad" move...it just isn't a killer move for them. it will help out their run D, but it won't help out their pass D. it's just not as beneficial to them as it could have been if their coaching staff wasn't in denial about this being a passing league now.

for a team already weak against the pass and with a whole lot of question marks in the pass rush already with one of their key guys possibly heading to jail for a while, it's just leaving a defense already susceptible to the pass just as susceptible.

bad move? no. great move? nope.

I dont see why everyone jumps down chucks throat. he actually makes some great points.

If we would have signed goldson, we would collectively be stroking our egos all over the internet. Im just as tight as everone else that we havent signed a FA besides olson in the last 4 years worth a damn, but lets not act stupid.

No he doesn't. Chuck is Chuck.

As for Goldson, who wouldn't around here? Goldson would take over for Goldfrey at SS and Godfrey would play FS (which suits him more). However, the reason why it's a nonthreatening move to me is because The Bucs needed a coverage player, not another run defender. Barron is their gem against the run at SS. Goldson simply isn't a good FS in any other system without a pass rush.

Quit acting like you know me man.

You only been on here 1 month and you act like you own the place. Im really starting to think that you're an ALT

i agree, but it's still a good move for the bucs to put themselves a little closer to 'good'
