I don't believe this to be true, but it would instantly make me turn on Gettleman. If we started the season today we would have the worst secondary of all time and Fua as our best DT, but spend all remaining cap money on Jennings....great

An NFL source tells the Green Bay Press-Gazette free agent Greg Jennings could return to the Packers if he hasn't signed with another team by midnight Wednesday.

It implies Jennings has a standing offer from the Packers, one he might take if no one betters it over the next six hours. It would be a thudding end to free agency for a player who's spent weeks publicly pumping up his stock, but perhaps best for all involved.
