im confused at all the people who feel this isnt a big deal. revis is the best corner in the league. the bucs were a team that has a great front 7. if health revis shuts down his side of the field which will help the already talented mark barron. they have been making progress each year. atleast they have money to make these moves

If a division rival wants to roll out franchise quarterback money and quality draft picks for a corner coming off a torn ACL, I will laugh at them until I am proven wrong.

Yeah, that'd almost be like giving money to a running back and expecting him to break the single season rushing record in a passing league......oh wait.

He is coming off a ACL and wants to be paid like a Franchise QB. He will kill their Cap.

The Bucs have 31 million dollars in cap space, they could easy front load his contract and still have a crap ton of room.....unlike us they aren't terrible mismanaged into cap hell.

Good to know.

. . . is this some built up resentment from the Smash and Dash screename?

No, I was replying that Peterson came back from ACL surgery in record time, and broke the single season rushing record, so to think Revis can't return to form is foolish. I've had the surgery myself, and I'm fine, although obviously not taking an NFL beating.
