I don't disagree with your concept just your solution to the concept Plax would be a band-aid a win now situation only player....

We are not in win now mode we are in establish good young players and improve gradually mode.

Plax is only a red zone target at this point and we are great in the red zone, so not sure this would have helped. We need a burner to stretch the field.

They used Plax as a redzone target, hence the slightly more TD's. That aside, they are basically the same receiver statistically.

aside from attempting to predict the future, I'd take the receiver who is much more of a redzone threat every day of the week if you consider them "basically the same receiver"...
