Beason:

We have 0 leverage with Beason because 3.75 million of 13 salary is fully guaranteed. His base salary is only 5.25 million total.

So if we cut him all he has to is find some one willing to pay him 1.51 millon per year or more and he wins(not mention at least some would be guaranteed). Meanwhile we would have to eat the 3.75 million guaranteed for this year plus the 12 million in dead money from his signing bonus.

Next year makes much more sense to part ways with beason, when the the dead money drops from the current 15.75 million to just 8 million.

The leverage we have over him is that he currently still has around 25 million dollars still remaining on his contract and he isn't going to get anything close to that after basically missing two seasons.

I don't see any point in cutting a guy like Hangartner. Sure he saves us a little bit of cap but then we have to turn around and immediately pay somebody else the same amount to replace him.

I don't either, he should be our BACKUP C/RG. He is diverse. He could step in for a quarter and just kinda suck but he wouldn't be raped....

For 2013 we have 0 leverage. If we did Gettleman is already failing at his job for not reworking his deal.

He's been ranked as one of the worst guards in the league by a couple sites. A bargain free agent will probably make less and be better.

Jon Beason doesn't care about our cap flexibility in 2013 if you go to him and say "hey do something or you'll never see half of your contract." Gettleman might not be reworking it because he doesn't want to put any more dead or guaranteed money into the future that he doesn't have to (which would be the case with the Anderson cut which is supposedly not a June 1st designation)

Gross and probably Dwill. Don't be surprised if Gross is cut if he doesn't restructure.

Shocked if Gross is cut if he tells Gettlemen to pound sand....

Gross isn't a backup RB on a stacked team of rushers. He is the starting LT playing next to a newb on the Franchises blind side and any replacement will be a downgrade for 2013. You aren't paying for Gross....it is essentially a Cam Newton payment.

Would love it if Beason could restructure. I dont' think TD will restructure and to be honest I think he deserves to keep his contract. He fought way too hard to come back and earn his bonuses just to restructure.

We can't afford to cut Godfrey. He's a better than average player and he's literally the only asset we have in the secondary now.

No. He isn't above average. He is paid to be above average and next year he is paid to be Ed Reed.
