aint do much against rhodes....umph.........ummhumm....i watch the hard test...not the easy ones.....like one scout said you got to know which t tape to watch on prospects.

still a decent guy to pick up in the 2nd.

He caught every pass thrown his way except one if I saw right. Even in the one he didnt haul in he beat Rhode's press and got inside position made the catch. Rhodes made a nice recovery and was able to get his hands in there and dislodge it.

This dude is a 1st round talent imo

people go all crazy over that lsu game but i bet half of them dont know the corner that was covering him. lol to be honest tahj boyd deserves all the credit from that win. he had no time in the pocket and still made throws all game while getting hit up like a rag doll.

tharold simon....a 4-5 round guy.....big slow and can not cover hopkins at all. lol

Obviously there is gonna be a game or two where a wr has some drops. but overall hopkins probably has the best hands in the draft.

I was pointing out that the inaccurate comment about him not doing anything to Rhodes. Caught every pass thrown his way except 1, and even that one he beat Rhodes press, got inside position and made the catch. Rhodes made a hell of a recovery play to knock the ball out of Hopkins hands.

When you combine hands, route running, big plays, size/speed, production (1400 yrds, 18 tds if i remember correctly last season), and game tape. Hopkins is arguably the most complete / best wr in the draft.

The one incompletion he beat Rhodes press and got inside position, made the catch, then Rhodes made a great recovery and dislodged it. Fact.

One of the completions was a long big play TD catch. Fact.

Trying to rag on Hopkins from that game is just stupid.

The SC game would be a much better game for you to argue.

Boyd deserves most the credit? gtfoh The qb is only half the equation. The wr has to beat his man, find the open seam, and make the catch.

His numbers on the season speak for themselves.

the long td throw was more of a good game plan on rhodes. he was looking out for the underneath man and safety was supposed to cover him....which he did, he just didnt make the play.

No one said he was superman that game. At the same time he didnt have a bad game as well. Caught almost every pass thrown his way and consistently beat Rhodes press and got separation. Fairly good outing if you ask me.

I never said anything about picking Hopkins 14th. There isnt any wr worthy of the 14th pick.

Hopkins is a great WR prospect he is a late 1st round guy but Boyd makes incredible throws too...he will be a Heisman canidate after all.

He just does not have much upside..but that is because he is pretty polished now. He seeems like a Reggie Wayne type guy who can rte run his way open..which is awesome.

He can get off the line with ease and is an elite route runner with grat hands. Hes just not going to be the burner and is a better version of Lafell especially in the route running and football IQ.

He has way better hands and route running ability than Lafell had out of college. Im pretty sure Lafell didnt have as many big plays / td's as Hopkins as well.

Hopkins is a average - above average number 1 WR. Or a great number 2 WR imo
