Eh, this kind of philosophy is kind of going the way of the running game now. It's a competitive league and you see more and more teams making aggressive plays for their guys to avoid bidding wars early. No decent players slip through the cracks anymore.

Besides, the Panthers have proven time and again waiting for the bottom barrel scum isn't exactly the "smart" play.

Chiefs, Browns, Dolphins, Titans have made the biggest splashes in FA so far by signing the big names. Hmmmm...... Also didn't say anything about waiting for the bottom barrel scum either, just said smart teams are waiting out the early free agency frenzy by teams with excess money.

Best value deal IMO that I've seen so far. Very good signing for the Broncos.

Sammie Lee Hill, Kenny Phillips and Keenan Lewis. Those are the 3 we should be targeting. They are all young, likely inexpensive, fit our system, and fill needs. Get it done Gettleman!
