Michael Vick to the Carolina Panthers????

Be the best thing that would ever happen to this team and I am a fan of the Panthers.

Would give them a legitimate quarterback that can bring them back to the Super Bowl.

Could give them options at kick-off returns and punt returns.

Use him as a potential inside slot receiver as a passing threat.

Now thats what I would call a real offense keeping a defense guessing.

Considering we are playing a much more tougher schedule in 2009 than in 2008 and it will be hard to repeat an 8-0 home record and for us to go even 4-4 on the road will be a miracle.

Bring Michael to the Queen City and put this team back on the map so the NFL looks at this team as a national team instead of a small market regional franchise.

Encouraging others to chime in.

After all that time off the field I seriously doubt he's a contender for a starting position at QB. This guy is the epitome of locker-room-cancer and contagious as hell. Can you imagine the response of the crowd if he were to take the field?

    • That's a loser mentality. We moved up to pick number 1 just the season before last and what did that get us? A point guard. If you think having pick 7 instead of 3 changes our future you're trippin. Most people here were saying 4 or 5 wins this season would be considered a success. Now, we're almost there and some of you want us to lose every game for a roll of the dice.  Amazing what some people have become these days.
    • I don’t think you can point to a single game and say “that was great play calling”. But as you point out, he is getting better.  He’s not great but I don’t think people hate him and he has the locker room (it appears so). I think he has navigated the Bryce benching fairly well and I suspect he had to deal with some issues with Diontae and no one seems to be worse for wear so kudos to him.  If I had to guess I think when he retires from coaching most of his career will have been spent as an OC but that is my take and hope I am very wrong.
    • Glad we can find some common ground. It's nice that there are actually a few teams somehow worse than us for a change. That's my main takeaway from the last 2 games. Now let's just see how ugly things get the rest of the way.
