The Browns have shown interest in free agent CB Captain Munnerlyn.

As Mike Lombardi relentlessly leaks info to the media, we're beginning to wonder just which free agents don't interest the Browns. Munnerlyn does have coaching staff ties in Cleveland, most notably to ex-Panthers OC Rob Chudzinski.

I'd love to keep Captain but he's nothing better than a nickleback. I'm guessing his agent is looking for starting CB money which is just to much considering our cap crunch and the fact he's tried and failed as a #2 CB. Guy is certainly a play maker and good special teamer, but by all means don't overpay for him.

I read an article that graded free agents and they had great things to say about Munnerlyn and put him in the second tier of free agents that are hitting the market. I was a little surprised when I read it. I don't have a link or anything. It was a few weeks ago when I came across it.

I think Captain can still max out his potential as a decent #2 CB with exceptional #3 skills. I hope we bring him back.I know he doesn't have a lot friends on the huddle right now but he's a good player that's done nothing but work hard to earn his keep here.

Captain got destroyed by TE's. He's an outstanding nickel against smaller guys but struggles mighty against bigger competition.
