How do you feel, now, after dissing Pep?

top dawg

Let's see, so far this offseason he's paralized the front office not allowing any significant free agent signings and in fact hindered the resigning of our badly needed departing free agents.

Forced the FO to trade next years #1 in order to assure we had a replacement defensive end in Everett Brown.

Peppers didn't force anything.

Our front office and team, want Peppers. They did what they had to make sure it happened.

The front office plan was in place long before you give them any credit. Sure, it would have helped for Peppers to sign a long term deal, but to sit there and say he forced the team into their plan, when their plan was in place before...well...we just see things differently.

And if you ask me, even with Peppers in the fold, we still needed another good pass rusher. Not saying that someone on the team couldn't step up, but when you get the chance to add the talent of Brown, ya go for it.

Integrity is more than what you speak, its what you do, and Pep has had a problem of not being true to himself on the field.

Can you prove this? If peppers and his double digit sacks isn't enough to show hard work, then what the hell are players like Steve Smith and his 5 TDs doing? But no, we won't diss Smitty because he's fiery and plays with a chip on his shoulder, which seems to be the way you determine who's got on field integrity...what about Mike Rucker? He was outperformed by #90, bet you won't say he lacked integrity. Use your own common sense and not what you hear from the Pat Yasinkases of the world.

It just boggles my mind how many people got their panties wadded because a man who no longer had a contract expressed a desire to look for greener pastures. He didn't rape your wife. He expressed a desire to go elsewhere after fulfilling his contract, yes, he played out his contract. Let me repeat that, he played out his contract, he owed the Panthers and the fans nothing, nothing. Why take it so personal? I'm glad I'm not around you guys, I might inadvertently walk by you without bowing down on my knees and risk getting shot or something. You have a much too high sense of entitlement. You think you own Peppers? Slavery has been outlawed for over 100 years...

Agreed, the energy and attention would be better served rooting for those currently on the team.

If Peppers comes back yay, if he doesn't hes done his time here.

I dissed him long before he wanted out. Hoped he would go if we got compensation for him

He gave less than full effort and was not a leader yet he wanted to be paid as such. Doubt he as found "heart", just not found another suitor

Exactly! I still think he's a punk.

He's only saying he's coming back now because he found out his market value isn't what he thought it was. He's crawling back and you guys are making it seem like he's triumphantly returning. Gimme a break.

Pep wanted to go play for 1 or 2 teams instead of Carolina....it isn't like he was out looking to be simply be paid and teams said he wasn't worth it. Plenty of teams probably wanted Pep....but he wasn't looking for that. I mean, if Tom Brady said he wanted out but only wanted to play for Indy he might be poo out of luck....that doesn't mean his market value in general is down. It means the 1 or 2 teams he wanted to play for simply were not good fits at the moment he wanted to leave.

Pep ain't crawling back. If Pep didn't comeback at this point....we would be screwed on the DL this upcoming year.

I still back what I say,if he doesn't hold out,the Panthers have to pay him 1mil$/game for him to sit critical plays off when he wants! He also doesn't want to be here and will probably be a cancer to the team! The Panthers could get 3,4,even 5 real good, hungry mid priced players for 17 mil$!The Panthers are real good at overpaying and hardly getting sqwaut for the $!!!

Yeah, I'm sure all the haters will continue to hate him as our defense plays well, and helps return our defense to where it should be.

That cool. Hate the man. Lord knows there just isn't enough hate in the world.

No I don't think they will.

As someone else mentioned, if he gets sacks we will talk about that. If he sucks we will dwell on the fact that he is overpaid and didn't want to be here anyway.

I don't even know anymore.

If I had any Cheval Blanc it would be closer to truth.

Maybe the '47* or the '81**

* what movie is that from?

** what movie is that from?

Fine I will tell you.

The '47 is from ratatouille. Anton Ego orders it with the ratatouille at the end. This is supposed to be the best wine ever made

The '81 is from sideways and is the wine he drinks at the end> It's funny too because it has merlot in it.

Next week we will be discussing which Brie to eat for NFC south games
