How do you feel, now, after dissing Pep?

What are you talking about? I still think he's a huge piece of poo. My opinions not going to change just because the dumbass finally realized that he's dug himself into a hole and had to come crawling back. There's no loyalty here guys. Truth is, he had no other options.

I have seen the error of my ways. Now the Peppers sent a team member a text I wish I could retract all my comments. I'm so sorry I complained about him dissapearing on plays. I wish I didn't insult him when he said he didn't want to hurt the team, then said he didn't want to be here anymore, then said I can't reach my full potential here, then begged to not be franchised. I am now ready to put on the homer glasses and drink the Kool aid.

What the hell are you talking about? Apart from a fluke 2007 who on our defense has EVER done better than Peppers? fatass Jenkins? Maximizing potential is a personal thing. Only Peppers knew how much more he can give to Carolina's scheme under Trgo. The man was offered 60 million in guaranteed money...and he turned it down.

If this man returns to Carolina and has another pro-bowl season, some of you will still act like he's the worst player to ever put on a Panthers uniform. How can you call yourself a fan when you diss a player that wants to leave who you yourself says didn't play up to his potential?

I would think those using the slacking angle on his play would be glad he wanted to leave and graciously anticipate his departure, rather than resort to what that worthless sack of sh*t called Brentson Buckner did

I like this post. Didn't ever think of this angle. Damn. This post is kind of like a mirror for hypocrisy and the need to wantonly attack someone simply because you're looking for blood. Rep.

It just boggles my mind how many people got their panties wadded because a man who no longer had a contract expressed a desire to look for greener pastures. He didn't rape your wife. He expressed a desire to go elsewhere after fulfilling his contract, yes, he played out his contract. Let me repeat that, he played out his contract, he owed the Panthers and the fans nothing, nothing. Why take it so personal? I'm glad I'm not around you guys, I might inadvertently walk by you without bowing down on my knees and risk getting shot or something. You have a much too high sense of entitlement. You think you own Peppers? Slavery has been outlawed for over 100 years...

Some loyalty wouldn't kill him. We were about to give him a fat fuging contract for being a lazy, half-assed, no hearted defensive end who had sack numbers to make up for his faults. If you asked me, I'm just insulted that he's not kissing the organization's ass right now.

Imagine Steve Smith saying that he didn't want to play in Carolina anymore and walking out on the organization and the fanbase. I'm sorry, I understand that it's "business," but that would not sit well with anyone. Loyalty matters, especially here.

Thank goodness that, barring some unforeseen circumstance, Pep will be returning back to where he belongs. Thank goodness that there are fans, like myself, who are smart enough to realize that Pep's presence is a plus for the Panthers, are mature enough to realize that business is business, and are appreciative enough to let Pep know that a great many of us have always believed in him, and will continue to do so.

Love, Top Dawg.

Let's see, so far this offseason he's paralized the front office not allowing any significant free agent signings and in fact hindered the resigning of our badly needed departing free agents.

Forced the FO to trade next years #1 in order to assure we had a replacement defensive end in Everett Brown. Publically crapped all over the Panther organization. All at the behest of an under qualified over his head personal Agent. Everything he's done this offseason is the wrong way to do it.

Peppers deserves all the criticism he's received for his actions these past months. Apparently coming to the realization he's not going anywhere and must sign his Franchise Tender at some point he's casually announced he'd be at camp. Duh. Now come in, man up figure out how you're going to save face and sign a contract extension. Then let your play on the field reach that potential you haven't achieved by hard work and desire.

The Panthers FO has handled the entire situation with class, kudos to Mr. Richardson and GM Hurney.

I remember you bad mouthing him once or twice, hypocrite.

If this is directed @ me, you're delusional. I have never spoken bad about Peppers. Anyone who cares to know, knows this to be true.

Even when I don't agree with moves that the FO makes, I don't go around trashing guys. Even with Jake, who I still respect as a person (and even a QB), you have never heard me making personal attacks against his character and crying about the business of the animal that is the NFL.

Being a hypocrite may work for some of you, but it's not my style.
