okay i found a lil blog and i will update some of my underrated players here and there...

terren jones

Alabama State held its pro day under the lights for what is believed to be the first time on Monday.

Massive offensive lineman Terren Jones stood out during the workout, held on field turf outdoors.

Jones (6-foot-7 5/8, 341 pounds) ran the 40 in 5.59 and 5.50 seconds, had a 24-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-7 broad jump, did the three-cone drill in 8.26 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.97 seconds. He did not lift, but his arms measured 36 inches.

terron armsteam and brandon thurmond

Terron Armstead‘s impressive run-up to the 2013 NFL Draft continued Monday at Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s pro day.

New San Diego Chargers offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris put Armstead through a workout that went on for about an hour. Armstead — who was among the top performers at his position in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and broad jump at the NFL Scouting Combine — only participated in the position drills at the pro day. Armstead looked outstanding in the workouts, and now has some private workouts scheduled, including one with the Dallas Cowboys. Armstead has a very good chance of being one of the top 60 players selected in the draft.

Representatives from 12 teams were at Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s pro day March 4.

Brandon Thurmond, LB (6-foot-1 1/8, 253 pounds) — Thurmond ran the 40 in 4.82 and 4.74 seconds, had a 32-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-11 broad jump, did the three-cone drill in 7.28 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.50 seconds. Thurmond also had 20 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Thurmond is a potential rookie free-agent pickup.

In all, 14 athletes worked out at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The 40s were run at a high school field that had a FieldTurf surface.

Sean Porter, LB (6-1 3/8, 230) — Porter ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 and 4.63 seconds. He had a 4.40-second short shuttle time and a 7.29-second three-cone drill. He stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine.

Manase Foketi, OT (6-foot-5 1/8, 317 pounds) — Foketi — who was at the NFL Scouting Combine but opted not to run the 40-yard dash — ran the 40 at his pro day in 5.77 and 5.54 seconds. His short shuttle time was 5.12 seconds. He had a 26 1/2-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-11 broad jump. He stood on his combine numbers in the three-cone drill (8.11 seconds) and lifts (25 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press).

While Foketi played offensive tackle for the Buffs, NFL scouts see him more as a guard in the pros. Because of his size, Foketi could be drafted as high as the seventh round.

Matt Scott, QB (6-foot-2 5/8, 212 pounds) — Scott only got measured at the pro day, standing by his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine (he was a top performer among his position group in each event he competed in). After just one season in Rich Rodriguez’s spread attack, Scott has earned high praise from the veteran coach, who said that Scott is the best quarterback he’s had in 23 years of coaching. Scott throws a quick ball, and can heave quality passes without having his hands on the laces. He looked really good in the positional workout.

Travis Frederick, C (6-3 5/8, 316) — Frederick stood on his numbers from the combine. Frederick’s versatility on the offensive line — he has started at both guard and center, and performed at a high level in doing so — makes him a desirable pro prospect.

Ricky Wagner, OT (6-6 1/8, 309) — Wagner stood on his numbers from the combine. Both Wagner and Frederick were worked out in the position drills by Miami Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner.

Johnthan Banks, CB (6-foot-2, 186 pounds) — Banks ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 and 4.59 seconds, had a 4.28-second short shuttle, and a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-6 broad jump. While his 40 time was slightly better than the 4.61 seconds he ran at the NFL Scouting Combine, Banks looked good in the positional workout.

Darius Slay, CB (6-0, 192) — Slay did not work out in the positional drills after pulling a muscle running the 60-yard shuttle. Slay did manage to do a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump. Slay posted the the best 40-yard dash time (4.36) among defensive backs at the combine.

Chad Bumphis, WR (5-10 1/8, 196) — Bumphis ran the 40 in 4.58 and 4.52 seconds, 6.91 in the three-cone drill and 4.26 in the short shuttle. He had a 35-inch vertical and 9-10 broad jump, and performed 17 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press.

i know a few people love them some auburn panthers lol(guys who played with cam)

Emory Blake, WR (6-foot-0 3/4, 189 pounds) — The son of former NFL quarterback Jeff Blakeran the 40 in 4.61 and 4.62 seconds, had a 36 1/2 vertical and 10-0 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.42 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.01 seconds. Blake, who was not invited to the combine, is a possible rookie free-agent acquisition.

Philip Lutzenkirchen, TE (6-4, 260) — Lutzenkirchen ran the 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds. He had a 32-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-4 broad jump. His time in the short shuttle time was 4.32 seconds and 7.05 seconds in the three-cone drill.

Onterio McCalebb, RB (5-10 1/4, 169) — McCalebb ran the 40 in 4.33 and 4.34 seconds, had a 37-inch vertical and 10-10 broad jump, had a 4.31-second short shuttle and 7.01-second three-cone drill, and did 10 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. The best shot for McCalebb at sticking in the NFL is as a return specialist. His size is an issue as far as durability is concerned at the running back position.

Corey Lemonier, DE (6-3, 255) — Lemonier stood on most of his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine (he posted the third-best time for defensive linemen in the 40 — 4.60 seconds). He did do the vertical at Auburn’s pro day, jumping 34 inches. Lemonier did position drills led by Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker coach Keith Butler.

Zavior Gooden(olb)

- Linebacker Zaviar Gooden once again shined. He dominated the NFL Combine, running faster than any linebacker in attendance. His three-cone time and shuttle times were tops at well. He didn't have a ton to prove, but he worked out anyways. Gooden improved his vertical jump to 38.5 inches from 34 inches. He then flashed in positional drills and generated a buzz amongst the crowd in attendance. He has workouts scheduled with the Panthers, Patriots and Bears.

Jonathan Cyrprien

In the all-important 40-yard dash, Cyprien clocked in at 4.56 seconds. While not an elite time, it may have been just fast enough to prove that Cyprien won't be a liability because of his speed. He added 18 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press, which would place him third among all defensive backs if he had participated at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Indeed, his power has been regard as one of his biggest assets as a safety, along with his quickness and instincts.

Tourek Williams (de)

Teammate Tourek Williams is also vying for a selection in the NFL Draft, though he is more likely to be selected on Day 3. Still, the 6'3, 260-pounder reportedly performed well in both linebacker and defensive line drills. He tested much better than he did at the NFL Combine in February, running an unofficial 4.65 in the 40 after going 4.92 in Indianapolis.

Jasper collins Mount union( wr)

Numbers from Jasper Collins today: Broad 10'1 Vert 34 Bench 12 Shuttle 4.08 L Drill 6.84 60 yrd Shuttle 10.99 40 yrd 4.47

Jasper Collins -- no relation to Jamie, by the way -- is a possible late-round pick who showed off at the East-West Shrine Game, but was one of the biggest snubs to the combine. He tried to show why he should have been invited on Friday:4.47 isn't a top time for a wide receiver -- probably around middle of the pack -- and at 5'10, Collins might have wanted to perform even a little better. But it's not a bad showing at all.

Brandon Magee(olb) and Keelan Johnson(S)

There were still plenty of eyes on linebacker Brandon Magee, however, who ran Friday in hopes of proving that he is faster than the 4.74 he posted in the 40-yard dash in Indianapolis

Speed is perhaps the most common critique of Magee's game heading into the draft. He sat out the 2011 season after tearing his Achilles' tendon in fall camp, and though he bounced back in 2012 to lead the team with 113 tackles, he still appeared to be a step slow at times. On Friday, Magee addressed doubts by reportedly running between a 4.53 and a 4.59 in front of scouts. He also posted a 29-inch vertical:

The Sun Devils' third combine participant was safety Keelan Johnson, who earned first team All-Pac 12 honors after racking up 88 tackles, 11 pass breakups and five interceptions last season. He didn't improve much on his numbers from Indianapolis, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. On Friday, he ran in the 4.47 to mid-4.5 range in the 40, and hit 34.5 inches in the vertical jump. Johnson is vying for a Day 3 draft selection.

Miami pro day- Brandon Mcgee(cb),Kendall Thompkins(wr) and also Ray Buchanan(olb)

McGee measured in at 5'11, 191 pounds and he had a 34" vertical with a broad jump of 9'11". Those numbers were very similar to what he showed at the Combine. McGee ran a 3.40 40-yard dash at the Combine and had 14 reps on the bench, so he did not perform those tasks again at Pro Day:

The fastest 40 of the day came from wide receiver Kendal Thompkins, who posted an official 4.37, blowing away the competition. That time would have placed him fourth among wide receivers at the Combine. Thompkins also had the second-highest vertical leap, reaching 35 inches, just behind safetyVaughn Telemaque at 36 inches.

Ray Buchanan

One of the biggest surprise performers was perhaps linebacker Ray Buchanan. According to one scout in attendance, Buchanan ran an unofficial 4.53 in the 40, after putting up a 34-inch vertical and jumping 10', 8" in the broad jump. Buchanan ended up with an official time of 4.55.

Glenn Foster illinois (de)

Defensive lineman Glenn Foster stole the show in the weight room with a 39.5-inch vertical leap and 29 bench press reps of 225 pounds, both the top totals of the day. The 6'4", 286-pound Foster also posted impressive numbers in the broad jump (10' 9"), 40-yard dash (4.79), 20-yard shuttle (4.46) and 3-cone drill (7.09). For comparison, all six of Foster's measurements would have ranked in the top-15 among defensive linemen at this year's NFL combine, with his vertical jump and broad jump marks ranking first among his peers at the combine.

Jake Stoneburner(te)

Stoneburner improved on his already fast 40-yard dash in Indianapolis, clocking in unofficially at 4.55 and 4.52 seconds in Columbus. At 6'3, 252 pounds, Stoneburner's frame doesn't fit the prototypical frame of a wide receiver or a tight end at the level particularly well. That may not matter given how well he can run, however.

Brandon Ford(te)

From what i could scrap up and find lol.....scouts said he ran routes smoothly and natural, also ran a avg 4.7 40 dash, benched 17 reps of 225, and had a 37 inch vertical leap. He is 6'4 in height and 245 in weight. Finished his senior season at Clemson with 40 rec,480 yards and with 8 tds.

Penn State Pro Day

Gerald Hodges and Jordan Hill

[Gerald Hodges was another notable player at the combine. He did some interviews, and the Collegian Footblog on Twitter had some quotes from him from the Pro Day. Hodges said that he was happy to get his measurables out there for NFL scouts, and that his 40 time "improved today greatly," according to one Tweet.Another, via Jeff Nelson, suggested that Hodges hit 35'' on his vertical jump.

Defensive tackle Jordan Hill reportedly ran in the 4.9-second range on the 40-yard dash, which would be significantly down from the 5.23 he ran at the scouting combine. According to Audrey Snyrder on Twitter, Hill said he was much more relaxed at PSU's Pro Day in comparison to the scouting combine.
