This takes Joeckel/Fisher off the Chiefs list @ #1, unless they are going to move Albert to RT or LG otherwise where would Joeckel fit?

Bowe being locked up takes him off our list (i would hope he wasnt on it anyway). otherwise who cares on that one.

With Alex Smith being acquired already, one must wonder if they take a QB at #1? Why spend all that on a Smith for the short term? The last few moves have really been interesting from the Chiefs. I smell a trade coming, they got a QB for the interim, time for them to stockpile picks and find a taker for the #1 over all that covets Geno, Joeckel, Fisher, Star, or Jones.

Who has the picks, and available talent to trade up, and covets one of those guys? If i were the Chiefs i would try to sell that pick to the Jets, Buffalo, and even the Eagles or the Chargers. If for any reason Jacksonville thinks that they have to give up on Blaine, they could go for Geno. If you can get the Chargers thinking that the big 3 LT will be off the board by 11 they may bite (very unlikely they are not the team to trade up like that).

I just don't see them staying there with the top talent in this draft completely missing a WR, RB, or CB worthy of the top pick. they just wrapped up the big$$$$ in the postions they need, and unless they really want to go spend yet another top pick on a 3-4 DL, then what do they need up from the top spot. Would they take another LB (they are already stacked there)?

They did the right thing. Now cut Tyson Jackson so you actually have some cap room (he's one of the highest paid players in the NFL! NOT worth it) and draft Floyd 1st overall.

I don't think San Diego would be a player to move up to 1. Now if 2 of the top 3 OTs are gone after 4, then I could see them making a move up to 6 to pass ARZ which would be a lot less

we've had some really bad trades and contracts in the past, no doubt. but the guy pulling the trigger on those moves is currently unemployed and we have a new GM in town. the alex smith trade and now this deal are being made by the chiefs new GM that just took over
