Dwan Edwards wants to come back

Mr. Scot

I'd say it's pretty much a done deal if both parties are realistic, money wise. He's 31 and probably tired of moving. Plus he's had to live in Baltimore and Buffalo (not to mention Oregon and Montana). He's probably enjoying the warm weather for a change.

Interesting note for future reference...

Spotrac is usually very good for contract info, but they really blew it with Dwan's info for the 2012 season. They listed him as being signed for 2 years, 2012 at a little over 4 million and 2013 at 3.75. Turns out it was a 1 year deal for 1.5 million.

So much for taking that site as the definitive salary reference.

Could be just that, but he was listed like that on our team page. Just a cautionary note for those who use Spotrac as the definitive reference for where the Panthers stand relative to the cap, what contractual obligations remain, etc.

In fairness, that's the first big mistake I've found on their site. They are generally very good and up-to-date.
