How much over the cap are we really?as low as 3-5 million?

Great news. While it's nice to imagine us restructuring Gamble, along with Gross, Beason and Williams, to be able to keep #20, I still think it's the best move for us to cut him, pick up a cheap vet FA corner (or draft one with our first two picks) and then have more wiggle room in free agency.

OOOOOHHHH MMMMYYYYYYY GGGGGOOOOOOODDDDD!!!

Your telling me that all the people who's jimmies have been in full on rustle were just over reacting?

Your telling me that our cap situation is nearly solved for this upcoming free agency period almost 2 weeks from the starting line?

What sorcery is this?

Team was at 136 million counting dead money, Add in the incentives that players hit plus Stewarts extra 200k and it pretty much nullifies the 3 million carry over. Which puts the team after Kalil savings at around 133 million or roughly 10 million over the cap.

Ron Edwards and Gamble will be cut putting the team right under the cap by about 500k or so.

We are now 8 mil over cap, people.

As I said in another thread, I trust shefter's numbers. @AdamSchefter: Teams with least room this am: CAR $8 mil over cap; NO $5.5 mil over; WASH $3 mil over; AZ $1.2 mil over; OAK $800k over.

No one cares who you trust.... you have like 60 posts and you waste your life arguing with Joe Person on the one occasion when he was right.....

I don't usually like repeating myself, but for the stupid, I feel as though they deserve another shot.

Joe person originally wrote an article that we were 10 mil over the cap and claimed this was with an expected cap number of 121 mil

Last night he claimed we were 9 mil over the cap with an expected cap number of 123 mil.

I can see you're not that bright by your lack of patience and aggression so we will break this down for you and others with a double digit IQ.

121 mil cap=10 mil over

123 mil cap=9 mil over

He was off by a million.

Or he could just rounding his numbers to make it easier?

You guys getting all worked up about this is ridiculous

I thought that was the case too, but he then claimed he had been reporting a 122 mil cap number. I quoted the article where he specifically stated 121 mil and he ignored me afterwards.
