Been away for a while.

Wassup peeps? I have been away for a while. I have had a rough year so far. My Step-son, which I am sure many of you remember me talking and making several posts about all the problems we have had, Was in a really bad car accident on Jan. 2nd. He was in a coma for almost 3 weeks. One of the hardest things I have ever gone through. He suffered from a crushed femur, his sacrum was broken on both sides, a broken vertebrae, a broken collar bone, 2 skull fracture, 3 brain bleeds, his ear came off, (it was reattached), his lungs were badly bruised (they collapesed 4 times in the hospital), and defused axonal (the wires of the brain for lack of an easier term). He aslo contracted MRSA Pneumonia in the hospital while on the vent macihine.

After many surgeries and lots of scares, he has come home and for the most part seems to be recovering really well. He is paralyzed on the right side of his face and deaf in his right ear. Drs have said that it may come back and it may not, but in the grand scheme of things, it is pretty small. Considering how close he came to dying. He was a passanger in his friends car, and was hit head on by another car. Both were traveling about 45 on impact. No drugs or alcohol were involed. The other car just drifted into thier lane. No one else was hurt near as bad, but all 4 were hospitalised for a little while.

Well, now that things are getting back to normal, I got to get to work on my Draft research. Its good to be back and looking forward to the draft and free agentcy. Go Panthers!

Man, that is a very difficult situation. I am sorry you and your family, especially your step-son, had to go through that. I am glad that he is recovering and is at home. Hopefully he will continue to recover without paralysis to his face. I would think that the hearing would be less important. (But that is just how I would look at it if I were him.)

Enjoy your draft research, and share it with us so we can all enjoy the fruits of your labors.
