He's not the guy he was 3 years ago, but then again he's got to be an upgrade over Ron Edwards.

32 years old....for 500k for one year, sure...no way we can address all our needs this year, so a stop gap

that extends to 2014 would be great. Kinda like we did with Edwards, except he was hurt all the time.

Kris actually has said that he likes Charlotte in terms of being a place to raise his family. They asked him about Cullen when Cullen was a FA after being in Green Bay, and he said he didn't think he would fit in here because he was looking to get the highest dollar amount possible and we were rebuilding. He's in a different place now given his age, etc, it could be a fit.

Worth a look, but he didn't have a lot of production last year. Maybe the front office could buy low and hope for a rebound year. What other DTs are on the market this offseason?
