Cordarrelle Patterson always wanted to play for the panthers

Carolina Panthers (No. 14)

Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman has stated that he'd like to see Cam Newton making more plays from the pocket, but the lineup features only one explosive weapon on the perimeter (Steve Smith). The addition of Patterson would give Newton a legitimate burner on the outside with the capacity to blow past defenders on vertical routes. Additionally, Patterson's presence would alter the way opponents defend Smith, creating more big-play opportunities in the passing game. Furthermore, Patterson would give the Panthers an eventual No. 1 receiver to build around when Smith, who turns 34 this summer, decides to hang it up.

If he rungs a 4.3 something like reported, it's going to come down to free agency and if Miami and company fill their WR void(but I feel there is a 95+% chance they will sign Jennings or Wallace). I really want this kid, shows a mix of a Randy Moss and Steve(Moss' height and jumping ability, Steve's kick returning and fight after the catch). Way beyond tired of drafting recievers 2-7th round and watching them bog down the bottom of the roster. Cam needs a career long friend, and this may be him.

Who the f*ck dreams of playing for the Panthers as a kid unless they grew up in the Carolinas...?

That's a pretty pessimistic view of of things, why don't you take a little more pride in your team. Plus most of these kids would have been in middle school and catching a interest in football about the time we went to the Super Bowl. And oh yeah, how about you learn to read, he did grow up in the Carolinas.
