Backup QB

I sure as hell wouldn't. Griffin is damaged goods.

And for the record, I hate Redskin fans even more since the Skins drafted Griffin.

I think Chud would do that trade in a second--injury and all. However, I am with you on the skins because I hate Shanahan.

Former Cowboy fan?

No way. I didn't have an NFL team prior to Panthers. I was a college fan. I'm just anti-any team whose fans take over BofA.

That is what losing does. If we could ever put together 2 winning seasons, that crap would stop...Then you hate the Steelers too?

Yep. Pretty much all of the following teams. They all attract large numbers of fans to BofA it seems.

Steelers

Broncos

Ravens

Cowboys

Eagles

Giants

Bills

Pats

Jets

Dolphins

Browns

Bengals

Saints

Falcons

Raiders

Bucs

49ers

Chiefs

Lions

Packets

Vikings

Bears

I say draft one. It's cheaper and there's more potential.

My theory is to have a qb on the PS and a veteran as the #2. That way, if you have an injury and the #2 gets promoted, the new #2 knows the offense. A developmental guy with a high upside who is a bit raw is fine.

This year, I do not think drafting a QB is a great idea. In years past, probably a good idea. Hurney bragged about not missing with first rounders, but he was bad everywhere else and never was good at drafting QB, CB, DT, or WR. I cannot believe this team as as good as it was.

When I lived in Cornelius I dated this bar tender that looked so much like her. Except said bar tender had some huge knockers. I mean perfect double d's. Man I miss 'Murica..

So are you Mexican by birth or do you live there for work?

Cheaper? Sure.

More potential? Not a chance.

How many "low round" QBs are successes in the NFL again? Tom Brady was a phenomenon PRECISELY because good QBs rarely come out of the lower rounds. There's a reason for that.

How about taking a backup in the first round? Way it is looking Geno could slide to us at 14. 2 reason why this would be a good option. 1 would give us a backup that could play if something happens to Cam. 2nd If he does show potential we could trade him to a team that does need a starter for some first round picks.
