I am beginning to believe we will draft Sheldon Richardson

I like Sheldon Richardson a heck of a lot more than Fletcher Cox. I would not object to him Vaccaro or one of the top LTs, Warmack. Even an athetic freak like Patterson would be cool..its the most whatever draft to me bc they all grade about equally.

Even if we do resign Dwan our 1st pick should be a DT, or at least our 2nd. I'd be happy enough with Sheldon, J. Williams or even Jenkins. I'd be ecstatic with Hankins or Star. I'd be very displeased if we took Floyd.

Richardson is more of a quick penetrating defensive tackle, kind of light...would be great in a Tampa-2. He is not near strong enough in the run for that high of a pick, I would want a complete player as a top 15 pick.

I've watched every video of him from YouTube and in every one he's getting tossed around like a rag doll. He gets decent penetration occasionally, but not as often as a single OL drives him back completely out of a play. Maybe others have access to "game tape" that I don't, all I have to go off of is YouTube, but I was totally underwhelmed by everything I saw out of him.

Everything he can do Richardson does better, Richardson has a much higher motor, and Richardson doesn't get neutralized nearly as often based on what I've watched. And I don't even really want Richardson, but I wouldn't be unhappy if he were our pick.

Funny, because going off the YouTube footage they have of Floyd and richardson, positive and negative plays, I see richardson on the ground and getting rag dolled alot more than Floyd. I just think Floyd does everything better than richardson

This....I'm not sure what people see in Rich, he can't defend the run and is much less disruptive than say Kawann Short...if you want and undersized DT, 3 tech type.

I think the love for Richardson comes in his ability to pass rush in a passing league.Though I think we may draft him it is hard for me to get excited about it

Sheldon Richardson got rag-dolled against Alabama. Every game I have seen him in, the effort is there, but he gets pushed around. He is quick, but he can't get up field against the run. That's a huge problem. Those of you that are pulling for this guy, I would like to know why. He is Kris Jenkins - the strength and intelligence + a bigger ego.
