I've been captaining the Deandre Hopkins bandwagon for a while.

Very smart, reliable, technician like player with adequate measurables.

Very reminiscent of Hakeem Nicks or Roddy White. The Torrey Smith comparison is laughable. There is nothing similar about the two other than their hair and their skin color, but I'm sure that had no bearing on that comparison at all.

Torrey Smith coming into the league was a tall, fast, strictly 9 ball receiver who struggled with drops.

Hopkins is an intelligent technician with great football IQ and reliability but with rather average measurables.

Theyre about as different as two players could possibly be.

the Torrey Smith comparison is based off his deep ball abilities. they are both around the same size as well(Smith 6'0 205, Hopkins 6'1 205), and Smith can now run the entire route tree and not just the 9 route. im referring to smith now, not from his college days.
