The Draft sucks (I really love it)

The way this offseason is looking, I don't think anything would suprise me. It really is possible that we have a vastly different team next year. There really are a poo load of upgrades floating around out there. With luck, maybe we can grab a couple or so for our roster.

And with all those FA floating around, how will that effect the draft? Can we concentrate on playmakers because we uprgaded some positions with FAs? That would be my personal favorite scenario.

Who knows how this is going to play out. But if you can't get excited for this, you may need to check to see if you even have a pulse.

I hate watching our competition pick great players.

It sucked watching the Falcons pick Matt Ryan, Roddy White, and Julio Jones. Many overlooked Roddy White because he was coming out of UAB, but that was back when I was in college and used to watch a TON of college football. White was one of my favorite college players. Just a stud. Watching him and that linebacker of a QB was fun.

lol. coples was so overrated it's not even funny.

he is what we thought he was.

kuechly >>>> coples. not even close.

the best thing about not drafting him is i don't have to look at that incredibly ugly and painful looking brand on his arm.

lmao he's a 4-3 DE playing in a 3-4 defense, nuff said

The difference in this draft is unless we draft another MLB, QB, DE or center there is no position we couldn't use. If we get a WR,DT,OL,LB,CB,S, G,T they could be justified easily. This is one of the best cases of BPA ever tbh. We should hire Hurney as a consultant for the first round pick. Not many GM's can say they picked the offensive rookie of the year and defensive rookie of the year in back to back years.

Ironic that the GM who can say that is currently unemployed.

We haven't made any changes to the college scouting department that I'm aware of, so the 'consultants' that helped produce those last to first rounder are still in place.

Of course, that means the people that scouted the remainder of our prior drafts are still in place too :(

The question we start answering this April: How much was poor judgment and how much was poor scouting?
