Shoulda framed up your floor to the same height as the rest of the house, that way you wouldn't have that awkward step and people wouldn't automatically know that it is a garage remodel.

There is an external door I use mostly that's level to the ground . I'd rather have the 9 foot ceiling. That door on the left is storage under neath our stair case.

As some of you know Mrs Zod and I are expecting a baby girl in June. This means my old home office is now the nursery, so the garage needed to be my office. I am pretty happy with the results.

Went with a mini split HVAC heat pump, keeps it nice and warm and has its own thermostat.

About 6 payloads to the dump, the rest in a 12x14 shed I had built

External view. Some of our neighbors don't have the brick skirt on the bottom, It was a couple hundred more to get them in but looks nicer I think .

We got laminate at LL for 2.49/sf. I liked the bamboo but the boss didn't like the colors :)

They have an installer that is around $2/sf additional.
