If The Dolphins Grab Mike Wallace...

Because this draft is very deep with little to no top tier can't miss prospects I keep hearing that teams are looking to draft "their guy" in the first round regardless of grade. This may lead to both, players no one was expecting to go in the top ten going in the top ten and top ten favorites to fall in the draft. The Panthers could really catch a break if this scenario plays out.

(By, I keep hearing, I mean on the radio and tv. No I'm not njpanther.)

I think a reason so many are split on wideouts this draft is because there's obviously no clear cut Green/Jones/Calvin type impact player however a strong crop of 10 or so near the front. I however don't get how some are content with what we have. Its not good, along with our o-line, and along with our safeties.

Bottom line, we all have our own preferences. Drafts are more than often quite funny to see in retrospect after a season because of all of these preconceived notions and break downs of how the prospects line up with to other years get so over analyzed. There are gonna be some very good WRs in this class imo like most year's, I just hope we pick right.

I personally like DeAndre Hopkins, Quinton Patton, Terrance Williams, Markus Wheaton...but that's just my uninformed opinion. They'd fit well on our squad.

I swear I'm the only guy on this site that has no desire to grab Keenan Allen whatsoever. I watch a decent amount of Cal games and he is very meh from what I've seen.

I think a lot of people forget what he did his sophomore year

Want somebody to surely move the chains, draft Allen. You want somebody who can move all over and create mismatches, draft Allen. His quickness is very overlooked. There's also nobody who can run routes like he can in this draft

Keep hoping for those second teir wrs. I don't care if we have Cam a qb needs somebody to throw to. The raiders game that he got eaten up how many times did they point out that noone was open. I've watched the games I've been to the games and a common theme is we don't have any playmakers at the WR spot. Smitty can't do it forever.

    • Start with Bryce, this is like his rookie year. The 1st 2 games proved her was wired wrong and it looks like (we hope) he needed a time out to reset and be the player that was drafted. He's still about a year or more away from being a top 15 QB, if the Panther give him another playmaker or 2 (a top WR and a decent TE) and maintain that line. Canales deserves credit as playing that card correctly to motivate (or refocus) his QB for one last shot to decide his and the Panthers immediate future. As a Panther fans we should hope he keeps improving as we invested so much to get him. CJ Stroud will never have a season like he had, even if he stays a top 10 QB. He's got great character so I'm rooting for Bryce to continue on his positive journey. Canales is playing the week to week thing with bryce perfectly. Nothings guaranteed, earn it weekly which builds consistency and consistency is greatness.  Keep the O-line. They've got to extend Brady C, along with Mayes that have a real good 7. Great job Morgan starting with the big guys upfront.  I really hope they draft a DE or OLB in the 1st round. Getting Brown back with A Robinson and what DJ has shown that we can have a decent D-line. Need a CB in the early rounds/ or a time FA to go with Horn.  The future as to next year being good enough to challenge for the division is within reach. Just show progress (win or lose) every week. Kudos to Dan Morgan. Plays GM like a LB. Tackle the problem and move on, don't just hope it works out. Find guys with your playing mentality and work closely with your HC to share a vision. Teamwork starts at the top and flows down.
