I think Teo's stock will recover but his stock will never be as high as it was before the National Championship and the girlfriend incident. Probably goes somewhere in the #17-28 range.

Ogletree is an fudging idiot. Guy with previous problems recovers and sees his stock actually rising to the point I thought he could be in top 15 contention, then he does this. Ogletree has talent, but I think he just helped Teo, Minter and Brown jump him.

I don't see how you can hold anything against Teo. So what if he had an imaginary GF for a year. JR had an imaginary GM for a decade and was none the wiser.

Teo will be fine.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about the whole girlfriend incident. Not sure how GM's will feel about it since they'll have unrestricted access to Teo that none of us will have so it makes it nearly impossible to predict.

I actually think he'd be a great fit with the Saints defense. They would've probably done better if they just imagined they were out there rather than display their pathetic pos defense. Perfect fit.

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
