Exactly how would 8-8 be very successful?? If 6-10 and 7-9 cause months of bitching and calls to fire the coach and gut the team, how exactly would another non winning season do anything but ensure the coach and his staff are fired. Anything less than making the playoffs will be seen as falling short of expectations.
