Is this an awesome idea or a very very very terrible idea?

You know that piqued my curiousity just enough that I did a google search of 'vagina tattoo'.

Why am I surprised that people actually have vagina's tattoo on themselves?

nothing should surprise you in today's world!

and for some....probably the only time they ever get to see one is when they look at their own tat!

I'm sure you're the pinnacle of intellectualism in your own mind. so go on thinkin that. But since you've decided to call me out. You've obviously got something to say. don't believe I've ever seen you on here so maybe your trying to get rep or something? Either way, my reply to you is go eat a di%$!

Yeah.  I am.  This is the internet; a "world" that exists on computer screens .  You have no status, no rep, no anything; neither do I.  None of it matters.  Even if you did I wouldn't care.  Look at your own post history.  It's filled with nonsensical posts (not the drunk kind; the "I have no brain kind").  People lose IQ points reading the contents of your posts.  You can go suck your own e-peen.  If you want the last word, go ahead.  You can have it.  I remain firmly convinced that we could play our first home game in the space between your ears.

that's always been my concern. but i know i will always love nautical literature and references to them as well as the open sea on a ship, and the connotation of sailing towards an unknown horizon that intrinsically accompanies it, so i feel like it'll never fade into irrelevance in my life (unless it's massively stylized, which it won't be.)

I'm with Inimicus on this, do it get it done.

You seem to have put enough thought into it, now the next step is dont go cheap and get a shitty artist, research your artist, look for someone that specializes in the style you want, for my 3/4 left arm sleeve it's in Japanese style and I went to probably 1 of the two best Japanese style artists in the Charlotte area, it's been top notch work.  the artist I got was able to fully tranfer my idea into a reality and I've been extemely happy with the work.

Honestly you will probably be paying at least $100 an hour on the low end of things for a good artist, mine is 125 an hour.

I got a lot of recommendations to use the golden spiral in GSO. normal rate is 100 an hour, I'm getting an all day session of 7 hours for 500, if all goes well I'll get the whole outline done in that first session, color in on the second one

7 hours? have you ever gotten a big tattoo before? I did 6 hours one time and basically said fug doing that again lol. I've found 4 hours is a good amount without feeling like your pushing it.

hahahaha, go for it bro. as a recommendation bring something like a soda to drink, there is going to be some blood loss and a the sugar will help.

Also bring a good set of headphones nothing helps more then playing some relaxing music and trying to find your happy place while your arm is getting the ink

your mirth alarms me

If you've not gotten one before you're going to be in for a bit of a shock, I at least had a couple smaller ones before I got my big one, so I kinda already knew what I was in for. but dont worry you will figure it out.....

Outline hurts more then shading and for the amount of ink outlines take longer, but it might not swell your arm as much

this is my arm after the 6 hour session very swollen at this momentpost-25-0-50079000-1398392405_thumb.jpg

also for after care I've used a product called tattoo goo and it worked very well for the wash, if you cant find it talk to your artist I'm sure he could point you in the right direction, also during healing use an unscented water based lotion only! dont use oil or petroleum based products and don't you antibiotic creams like neosporin and never pick at it when it starts healing it's going to get itchy
