Does Anybody Think Cam Getting His Degree At Auburn Is A Distraction?

Don't worry.....soon the media will be put where they belong: on their knees pleasuring Cam's manhood. They know that day is incoming. That's why they're taking those shots now. They are like that real stuck girl that tried to play hard to get, but everybody knew she was really a super freak smut. They will "give up the goods" when Cam plays lights out next season. Yeah.

I am not sure I understand this unless it is a personal attack. If so, I understand the need for some people to become cyber pricks. It is hard to communicate with people who do not agree with you if you lack the ability to understand the dynamics of subjectivity.

This is where you try to come up with a zinger that makes you feel clever.

I'll wait until you google one.

I look forward to all the prospective used car purchases you compare this year's top players to

Tyrann Mathieu = 1989 Buick LeSabre

And, as expected, you missed the entire fuging point of the post just like I knew you would.

Did I ever mention the towel? I don't give a fug about the towel, he puts the towel on whether he just ran a 72-yard TD or threw an INT. He does that regardless if it's a good play or a bad one.

Did I ever mention Tom Brady, Drew Brees, or Matt Ryan? I stated that I think he'd be the perfect QB if he could catch 'Eli Syndrome'.

I think I made it pretty clear that I believe the media did a damn good job of disparaging Cam's image (mostly due to the massive amount of butt-hurt he dished out his rookie season), but good job overlooking that part.

I love Cam's attitude, and I never said he had character/attitude issues. I think he's funny and entertaining as hell. The ONLY thing I mentioned was how he lets negative plays effect him far more than they should, you can tell that by his demeanor just by watching a game. Prior to the second half of 2012 his entire game would drop off if he had a series of bad plays after another. That's not a slight on Cam, it's a genuine analysis, from a genuine Carolina Panthers fan (which you've stated more than enough times to count that you're not) as a room for improvement.

Please take off your Cam love goggles long enough to read this post and comprehend it in its entirety. Once again, I love me some Cam (probably more than you do, since he IS the QB of MY team afterall), but I can also look at him objectively.

Have u ever seen me start any Cam Newton treads showing my "love?" I've been a member of this site sin 2011 and never have.

My team is the Gaints but as I my Sig states, Football is a sport and I LOVE sports. I root for all football teams when I'm not rooting for my own. I don't LOVE Cam I LOVE Eli Manning. I have trememdous respect for Cam because I see a kid who simply ignores the artificially created hate surrounding him and simply be himself, which is obvious a problem with some.

When someone tries to make the argument that Cam is immature, i'm looking for something that sets him apart where I can say, yes that is something he really needs to work on in his character or it can be a detriment to his team. I really need to read some concrete evidence of such immaturity that shows him as that. What u're saying about Cam is still clearly coming from a subject place, even if it's an objective observation. Rationalizing it with saying you sit and analyze "Cam's demeanor" during a game, doesn't make it less subjective.

I sit and watch my QB also. Come to think of it, Eli is not much different than Cam. He sits on the side line and looks all zoned out when the team isn't playing well. He gets quite pissy when his team loses and quite happy when they win. My QB must be just as immature as Cam then. Come to think of it Cam's demeanor is a reflection of may 50% of the QBs in the NFL. Considering none of the side-line "imaturity" has stopped Eli from winning 2 SB rings in 8 years of his QB career, I seriously doubt that's an issue with anyone. Especially since he's still like that even to this day.

As a fan of the sport, I guess my pet peeve is how much you folks sweat the small stuff about your QB to the point where you make it easy for those who hate Cam to pounce on everything he does and spin them into "character issues," when they are clearly are not. Case in point: this NFLN guy pondering on why Cam went back to school and how much of it is a "distraction" and what he should be doing instead. If it catches on, don't be surprised if it then gets added to the whole "reason to concern yourself" list and another sign of his "character issues." See how much you're making these folks job easy.

Made it's time for you to stop feeding the trolls in the media also. And stop sweating the small stuff about your QB. U're only making guys like that NFLN Idiot relevant. Maybe it's time to take some of your own advise and catch some "Eli Syndrome."

I blame Cam growing up in a single parent home for the "thug" accusations, the character attacks, and the "maturity" issues. If his father was in his life he'd be treated better. Having no role models in his life is why people see him as troubled. LOL

now that you have figured out Cam's issues. Please entertain us more and explain how you turned out to be such a flaming idiot.

I

Basing my opinion on my own observations. Sorry this is something you cannot accept. Perhaps you are wrong, and you are basing your opinion on a biased view of Cam. Nah, that could not possibly be it.

Oh yeah, i guess he's not living up to the silly media stereotypes created against certain players off the field, so we might as well find something to ciriticize him about on the field. must keep that negative stigma live and well.

While Cam is out there teaching kids to give back, going back to school and earning his degree, leading by example, folks like u much rather sit and act all righteously over media created poo about his demeanor on the side-lines and spinning it into some kind of maturity flaw. SERIOUSLY DUDE.. I would love to sit and analyze your behavior in the stands while u watch your team lose and win and see how mature or immature u behave.

And to be honest, I wouldn't want anyone to sit and analyze my sideline behavior because I am worst than Cam. I will way more pissed and not be afraid to show it, if my team loses. I guess that's the competitive kid in me.

Look dude, I completely agree that the media blows up issues with Cam (I said as much in my posts, I don't know how the hell you've overlooked it TWICE now, but whatever). I also agree that it was ridiculous how heavily scrutinized he was coming into the draft. Not once have I ever bought into what the media says about him, because frankly, it's a bunch of BS. Just like it's BS about this clown thinking school is a distraction for Cam, so yeah, I agree with you on all those issues.

I don't know where in my post you got the idea I "sweat the small stuff" about Cam or I'm "feeding the trolls in the media". I made a genuine observation about Cam that he could learn to not let some of those bad plays get to him as much as it seems they currently do. It has nothing to do with the damn media, I don't even give those idiots the time of day so please quit assuming as much, m'kay? That's not me talking bad about Cam (he's a 23-year old 2nd year QB who is used to putting the team on his shoulders, of course he has room to grow in this area), a hell of a lot of other QB's would benefit from doing the same thing. I don't think Cam has character issues and I don't know why in the hell you keep putting those words in quotation marks like I said that he did or something. I think he's just a young guy out there having fun and I commend him for it. I like his attitude about losing and I'd rather him be himself than some cardboard cutout of what people think he should be.

My main reason for quoting you in the first place is for doing the same exact thing you're doing now. You jump to conclusions after scanning through people's posts when it's related to Cam and spout the same carbon-copy crap every time. And a lot of the times you make some condescending remarks generalizing the entire fan base... sorry if I came off as harsh, but it's just gotten a bit old to say the least.
