Now to restructure DeAngelo's, Jordan's, and Jon's contract.

Yeah, bc Stewart's restructure shows that is an answer to our problem.....

Stewart's restructure shows we we have known....Rivera wants him to be our RB. It wasn't was just a tweak to Rivera's guy. Williams is gone.

I know D-Lo has a bigger cap hit, but I feel he is more durable than Stewart. Been several stretches over the past couple of years where Stewart has missed significant time due to ankles.

I'm hoping we can restructure D-Lo in a way that we can keep him.

But as for this move - I don't see where that helps much at all.

Um,

16 games - 2008

16 games - 2009

14 games - 2010

16 games - 2011

Stewart plays. He finally missed real games in 2012.....I don't see the stretches of signifcant missed games. He plays through pain well.

Prior to this season he missed 2 games in his entire career. I believe you're getting confused with missing practices and actually missing games.

Stew always seems to have a nagging injury or they just tend to be cautious with him but on Sundays the man comes to play. I want to see what Stew can do getting the majority of the load.

Right but he was very rarely the starter. The first time he gets the starting nod this year he goes down so he is an injury concern. He's a good back, he's just dinged up so much his first step acceleration looks slow at times. Maybe this last set of surgeries fixed it. I agree it made no sense to keep both backs, there's not enough carries and we have some glaring needs. Giving 2 backs 7 to 10 carries a game hurts them both. With the restructure(what did that save?) it's obvious who's staying, we will see how it works out. I would have traded either or both backs for a #1 receiver at this point anyway. I hope both backs kill it this year.

Stewart has more guaranteed money on his contract than DWill does.

So guaranteed money cap hit wise in future years, it's Stew.
