Nerlens Noel vs. Ben McLemore vs. Shabazz Muhammed.

I think when people say that someone is ready for the NBA, they are more or less referring to their style of play and/or body. McLemore's style will translate well over as will his body. However, it's unfair to expect ANY rookie to figure out the speed and mental aspects of the NBA right off the bat.

FWIW, as much as I like McLemore, I'm all in on the Anthony Bennett plus Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes.

Honestly, I would consider trading back with the number 1 pick and drafting Bennett or Len a few spots later. If you can pick up a high draft pick next year or a good young player in the trade I would pull the trigger. As much as I like Mclemore, a big guy is such a huge need for this team that it may be worth it.

Plus, every time I watch Len play he impresses me more. He plays great defense on the pick and roll, and I think his offensive game is going to take off once out of the Maryland system. I dont think he has the mindset to be a 20 ppg type player, but his game is so well rounded and just seems meant for the NBA

Anyone changed feelings over two months?

Well, I still feel that Shabazz is the best scorer in the draft and I would take him over McLemore. However, I am all aboard the Noel bandwagon and have been for a good month or so. We need that good inside presence on defense. We need better rebounding. We need someone that can set picks for Kemba and roll to the basket. Look what McRoberts has done for us since he's arrived... he's made us a much better team, and that's by adding just one big who has solid offense and makes solid rotations on defense.

My only issue is if we draft Noel... what about Biz? His progress in the 2nd half has been pretty good.

Noel is the #1 pick, Mclemore blew any shot he had at it with his inconsistent play in the tourney. If we do end up with the first pick, I hope we can trade Bismack for something because I dont see any way those guys can play together inside. Considering Noel probably wont be back until around the trade deadline next year there will be some time to work out a deal (especially if Bismack can show some improvement out of the gate next season)

I like Noel, but i really like Biz as well, and he has played so well and is such a hard worker, I'd like to keep him. I think Bazz offers the highest skill set. The dude did so much more for UCLA than just score, he truly did it all for them. Rebounds, assists, defense, you name it he did it. LIke thatlookseasy said, McLemore is out of the discussion IMO. I'm personally stuck between Bazz and Noel

assuming we get a top 2 pick, I think we have to take Noel if available. It will suck to suck again next year, but

he the closest thing to a sure thing in this draft.

I was on the McLemore bandwagon until the tourney. It appears he can go wallflower, no killer instinct.

wouldn't mind him with 3rd pick, be a tough call on the second.

Bazz? I don't know. I think he'll be a good player, but I don't know about picking him with 1 or 2.
