I wouldnt say "by a mile"

Rodgers's route running is fine.

Might not be elite but but it isnt anything you mention negatively on his scouting report.

Im not putting his route running down. Im probably the biggest Darick Rogers' fan on this forum.

Im just saying, I wouldnt say Rogers is the more complete receiver compare to Patton.

Average built 6ft WR compared to a man child WR that dominated the SEC.

Id give the edge easily to Rodgers. Had he stayed at Tenn it wouldnt even be a question of who would be drafted first (Patton or Rodgers) and we would be having discussions of Rodgers being the first WR taken.

Sure he played in the SEC. I agree, but you have to consider that Rogers also played with Tyler Bray, Justin Hunter, and a very good offense.

Patton, on the other hand played with little talents. He still put up very good numbers vs. very good teams, for example Texas A&M.

Bigger / Stronger / Faster

Not to mention 2nd year in the SEC Rodgers had 1000+ yards receiving

In Lafells 2nd year in the SEC he had 656

Lafell never broke 1000 yards in his career at LSU

Are you making up the bigger/stronger/faster thing? Did you actually look that up before posting?

Because this says different

http://www.nfldrafts...=2010&genpos=wr

http://www.nfldrafts...=2013&genpos=WR

Rogers .06 seconds faster (meaning not really faster)

Lafell bench 225 1 more time then Rogers (meaning not really stronger)

Rogers was "6" pounds heavier and both are the same size (meaning not really bigger)

You can pretty much have them change jersey and it would be the same player.

And Lafell QB's in his 2nd year was Jarrett Lee, and Jordan Jefferson 2 guys who aren't playing QB anywhere now. So not having a 1,000 yards wasn't his fault.

Its one thing to do it one game, its another to do it every weekend against teams like Bama, LSU, UGA, USC, FLA, ect.

Gotta give the edge to Rodgers all things considered imo

Well, Da'Rick Rogers only had "one" full season at Tennessee (2011). Didnt play much in 2010, and transfer in 2012.

2011

vs. Florida: 5rec, 62yds, 1td

vs UGA: 5rec, 71yds

vs. Bama: 2rec, 32yds

vs. USC: 4rec, 35yds

vs. Ark: 5rec, 106yds

vs. Vandy: 10rec, 116yds, 2tds

vs UK: 2rec, 38yds

Really, only "1" good game that came vs. Vandy. Your point doesnt really make sense.

KKL, sorry but we're comparing Rogers to Patton. Please quit the Lafail thing.

What about false statement on the stats their Global? You going to glaze over that part??

He is faster, whether or not you want to acknowledged that. How fast is irrelevant as I didnt specify.

I retract my stronger comment, although Rodgers is physically a bigger more imposing player.

Whatever dude just admit you may have overstated and move on.

.06 seconds isn't considerd faster in football. Rogers is pretty much the same as Lafell. Both are big #2 possession WR. That's it.
