You guys really over estimate the Bobcats' players value.

Getting Monroe from Detroit would require Kemba, if not more.

Kemba wouldn't make a bit of sense to Detroit because of Brandon Knight.

In almost all of the reports regarding Detroit they are trying to dump one of these two contracts gain more cap room.

Villanueva 2y 8.06/8.6 mil

Stuckey 2y 8.5/8.5 mil

Stuckey wouldn't make sense considering Sessions coming off the bench filling the same role Stuckey would assume and plays in Detroit.

Therefore, the 'Cats could base a trade around absorbing Villanueva's contract and giving up Henderson. Obviously that wouldn't, in reality, result in Drummond or Monroe...but adding Diop's 7.37 expiring...plus maybe one of the protected picks we have (either Detroit's back to them or Portland's) and it might get the conversation started for one of their bigs.

I don't think it would happen because I think Detroit is ecstatic about their combo of Monroe/Drummond...but they may be eyeing someone in free agency we don't know about or someone in the draft.

The way Mullens has been playing lately and with his favorable contract (2y 2.25/3.3 http://hoopshype.com/salaries/charlotte.htm) adding him to the mix to pair with their interior may be enticing. Drummonds and Monroe have similar inside games that don't stretch the floor. Adding a stretch big will space the floor making the other big more effective. That being said, Mullens is only 24 and Cho may not be willing to part with him unless it means Drummond or Monroe in return.

But, like I said earlier...doubt that happens. The good thing is that Charlotte has acquired many assets, like Cho said he wanted to do, therefore making them players in the trade market.
