Before my Mock I'm hoping that the Panthers sign 3 Mid level FA a OG (Kevin Booth or Louis Vasquez or Stephen Peterman ) from this good FA class of Olinemen a Vet NT(Terrance Knighton or Chris Canty or Sammie Hill or Alan Branch ) and a CB (Cary Williams or Mike Jenkins or Chris Houston or Sam Shields or Derek Cox ).

1. Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri

2. Eric Reid Safety LSU

4. Alvin Bailey*, OT/G, Arkansas

2.

I love it!

I love Richardson, Reid, Bailey, Fauria, Mathieu, Hughes, Sturgis every single one of them.

I love the FA move also. Everyone would love to get a Warmack in this draft but I really think its better for us to just grab a vet OG in FA. Instant plug and play with no learning to worry about. I also don't think Gettleman is going to take any OL in the 1st two rounds. Like I said before, just looking at the history of the NYG Draft the last time the Gmen took an OLINE high in the draft was in 2009 no.60 with Beaty. Other than that you have to go all the way back to 04' with Snee in the 2nd.

The Giants philosophy of building the DL and WR through the Draft while searching for very good veteran O-linemen through FA (Locklear, Ugoh, Bass, St. Andrews, Sh. Andrews, Boothe) has worked well to their advantage. I believe that Mr. Gettleman's philosohy will look very similar to this.

Really like your thoughts on potential FA targets and all picks after round 2. I would be very surprised if Richardson checks in above 285 at the combine and while he may be quick and disruptive, I have seen him get driven 10 yards back by average OG's. Reid I do kind of like because he is a big hitter in the run game and has solid ball skills, takes very bad angles to the ball carrier which does concern me.

This is BAD man.

Literally all picks just based on popular names.

What happened to you being so gung ho about drafting a CB?

If we lose Gamble and Captain we will be very Young at Cb . Adding another young CB hurts the mix of young and experience. I'd rather add a vet to that group and a Young safety to play beside Godfrey. That JMo.

Don't worry about Bwood's opinion bro. He's having too much drinks already before the Grammys tonight ;)

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
