And I really feel like we aren't spending bc we don't want to...not because of money. Teams can make money appear seemingly from no where (look at the saints). I just think that is the philosophy we have now. Gettlemania is all about bringing in a few moderately priced vets to help bring along the young guys. He's also gonna stick by his guns when it comes to what he spends money on. You splurge on Franchise QB's and DE's that can rush the QB (luckly we already have all of those)...not on aging running backs and outside linebackers with injury history. This is a whole new philosophy, and I would imagine it wouldn't change whether we had a little more cap space or not.
