and the Avett Brothers kick drum bullshit? Pretty sure Mumford uses the kick way more than they do.

Pretty sure Old Crow can only play Wagon Wheel one time for ya during the Super Bowl... But maybe they'll play it over over over over over over over again

The problem with a lot of these bands is the set up they would require to put on their kind of show, they're saying that might be an issue next year because in the cold weather it takes much longer to do the setup and tear down for these kind of halftime shows, so they may not be possible.

I don't see the NFL doing it, but I think a very safe pick that will still impress would be someone like Adele

No, she wouldn't be anywhere near my top choice, but they could throw her out there with basically no stage and have her show off that voice. It wouldn't be a traditional SB halftime show, but it would be logistically feasible and would probably be one of the better halftime performances in a long time, because she can flat out sing

Having said that, I'd love to see Mumford up there, maybe have Fun do a collaboration with someone would be nice too

This is the only good answer so far.

Muse is the most complete and talented rock group we have around right now.

And they are absolutely incredible live, you should've seen them at the staples center a week ago. I've seen a lot of good rock shows but my god...

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
