lol olsen does not run a 4.3 so it wont work.. most wr in the NFL DONT RUN A 4.3....

and if lafell has all pro hands why did he drop that long td pass when the team needed him the most to win over the chiefs........lol

lafell is avg and you overate him......

what would matt be without calvin....lol

you have a point that the panthers need a better coach but still dont cover the fact that they need a no 1 wr.....

and smith is getting old dude something you guys keep forgeting lol

ty hilton came out better than lafell so im willing to take a chance on a rookie wr....even maclin put up great numbers even though they had a running qb in 2010 in vick.....

So because Olsen doesn't a 4.3 he can't be a 2nd Wr option? So what has Written and Gonzo being doing all these years (both don't run near a 4.3) and why did Olsen have better numbers the Davis? Also you keep naming teams with 1 wr as example. If you're willing to use a 1st round pick on a Wr. He should be able to start day one and you can't for sure a wr in this draft can take Lafell out.

whewww just went back and watched that drop///lol that ball landed right in his his hand lol dude is no 3 wr at best.

and those those teams got in the playoffs but none of them won the super bowl lol they just had better coaching than panthers but that no 1 wr would put them over the top.....just like owens did mcnabb

and garcon is a number 1 he just was hurt for 6 games and still had equal numbers to lafell. lol

and many mocks have seahawks taking a no1 wr..........

vernon always had sucky qbs lol

if dude was with brady he would had better numbers than gronk....DUDE runs a 4,3 AT 250 POUNDS.....lol

cutler and newton are better than alex.....kap came on late in the season...if he had started.. vernon would have a 1000 yard season.. thats why jim benched alex...he sucks and always have. hes a game manager at best..

Live off one pass that he dropped if you like every WR has them.

Mcnabb and Owens didn't win the Superbowl either.

I'm not arguing if Lafell is a 1 wr. So even if you think Gracon a 1. Then Lafell has comparable stats to Moss of the Skins. Lafell is the 3rd sometimes 4th option on most pass plays.

The Seahawks can afford to. They have a solid oline... great secondary..... and solid DT's who are locked up for years. We can't say the same thing.

All right dude you have been going off topic for a few post now with this Vernon Davis poo. What does Davis speed have to do with our Wr situation.

dont try to change the fact davis could be consider a no 1 wr lol

but yeah owens tooks mcnabb to the top boy. rice took montana to the top. irvin took troy to the top.

every team that has won the superbowl has had star wr's............

brady had a stout d and like i said they were involved in spy gate.......and then again newton aint on brady level anyway(not yet).....

so i believe newton need his star wr AND SMITH IS GETTING OLD.......I REPEAT SMITH IS GETTING OLD...lol based off that fact you could draft a no 1 wr.

Crabtree is the number 1 on that team and Olsen had better numbers then Davis and Lafell had comparable numbers. So is Lafell and Olsen number 1 Wr.

And again Owens and Mcnabb didn't win anything.

Plus Smith has said he will play at least 2 more season. So we need to fix the other problems then look for Gross and Smitty replacement next year.

Dumb excuse because Michael Floyd had what at Qb............???? That's right garbage. And played with Fitz and had 45 rec. And Justin Blackmon had Gabbert and put up 64 rec. So stop the sorry QB excuse.

And the way Rivera dog house is Hill would have been in it with the drops not knowing how to run routes and lining up in the wrong place. So you would be wrong there as well.

What's even more stupid on your part is you would have been bragging on us spending a 1st round pick on a 3rd wr. Who cares if he took out Murphy and Edwards???? For a 1st round pick he better be taken Lafell off the Field. God I'm glad you're not our GM.

Blackmon played in all 16 games, with a qb who had a 77 rating and 72.Floyd played in all 16 games, with QBs who had 86, 55, and 46 rating but also had Fitz to pull the coverage away to give him single coverage. both played more games, and didnt have sanchez as a qb. i never stated he should have been taken in the 1st round but we could have taken him in the 2nd where he would have replaced Murphy and Edwards.and pushed LaFell for the #2 WR spot.i am stating that WR needs to be addressed in the 1st and 2nd round this year and will be.

Hill also played in a stale, predictable offense ran by sprano.

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. I told you he was to raw. I told you he didn't know all the routes, and I told you it will be 2-3 years before he becomes serviceable. Well 1 year down 1-2 years to go.

    • The coach- Canales was a rookie hc and at times looked like it. But he did manage to revamp the offense, helped Bryce not look like the biggest bust of the draft, exuded positivity,  and made the panthers watchable again. We have a viable head coach for the first time since rivera The gm- Morgan had some hits and some big misses. Hits- the ol, Coker, demani, dj at first. Misses- almost every d player signed, brooks, the jury is out on x. I get what he was trying to do with brooks/Hubbard but it blew up in his face. Hopefully he learns from his mistakes. But he did trade mingo for a 4th, managed to get a 2nd rounder this year from the Rams and I am a fan of constantly churning the bottom of the roster The draft- x can be a solid player but not until he catches the ball, brooks was a high risk pick that didn't work out, Wallace, demani and Chau Smith can be solid contributors and showed glimpses, Coker and jt should be mainstays. And flipping a 7th round lb that was about to be cut for Jackson was a great move.  The offense- had its ups and downs but Bryce has turned from one of the biggest busts in nfl history to a potential franchise qb, that change is worth its weight in gold, thielen was crafty and underrated as usual, Coker was a gem, jt was the solid but has some growing to do, and Hubbard has been awesome, the o line was much improved as well The defense- well...they set records, injuries, poor coaching (imo), bad playcalling and just plain sucking this defense needs everything to change, we need horn and Jackson back and we get brown back but we need bodies and an identity. If they can do with the def what they did with the o then we can challenge for the division bc we already have some pieces there.  Overall- this was a growth year full of questions and some of the major ones were answered(qb, coach). For the first time in a long time the season didn't end depressingly and I do have cautious optimism for next year. But they need to learn from the mistakes of 2024 and if they do I like where this team is headed. On to the draft and 2025
    • I disagree. It’s not hard to double a WR and still play the run. It’s called a bracket which you can use with a drop down safety or an OLB. Look up how it’s done. Also in obvious passing situations, doubling a wr is not hard. Falcons torched us in obvious passing situations time after time. 2 min drill, 3rd and long to where there’s no excuse to not focus more on Drake London. Mooney was out. London was the only WR Penix was looking at.  Evero simply can’t make adjustments. He’ll most likely be fired next year. Wish we would’ve just ripped the bandaid off this year. To call all people morons who think we can do better than Evero is a very ignorant and arrogant statement. Who the hell are you?
    • As a rookie head coach, I think he exceeded expectations.  We looked competitive in almost all our games.  I don't think he's hit his ceiling.  7 of 10 for this year.
