Anyone else glad the 49ers lost?

I am. In a way I wanted them to win just to get to 6 rings, so the squeelers fans can shut their mouths.

But at the same time, I'm glad they lost. The huddle is going to be so much better without all the pointless "U SUK JR FOR NOT GETTING HARBAUGH!!" threads and all that. My god this place would become a lot more unbearable.

hmph so now you've graduated to bitching about people criticizing the panthers organization in the hypothetical sense

did you run out of already existing topics to attack people over criticizing the panthers organization?

I'm happy they lost just because they're a noob team.

I liked how the Ravens were a perennial playoff team, and I'm comfortable with them winning. I don't want to watch a league where young teams with rookie QBs win the Super Bowl. It was close to happening too lol.

I give credit to both teams, but on the san fran note, they were one game away from the superbowl last yr and Kaep was on that team. I wanted Ravens to win because of the senority factor of Flacco and selfishly wanting Cam to win one before Kaep. But we cannot deny the talent is there and its no fluke.

i was fine with either.

and i still wish we had been able to hire harbaugh.

he'll have his team back there before too long. meanwhile we'll still be hoping for a winning season and dreaming of two winning seasons in a row. them losing the superbowl didn't do anything to change my mind about him or our coaching situation.

I like to play Madden online. Ever since Kap took over and had a few good games they boosted his ratings so now he is almost unstoppable with Vernon Davis and their defense online. So of course every pos in the world plays with them and I was so happy to see them lose because I am sick of seeing them on Madden. I am sure that if they would have won they would have boosted the ratings of everyone on the team as well, then literally everyone would use them every time. I am always the Panthers, but I wonder if two of my opponents play eachother if they are both San Fran? One other thing that pisses me off about RG3, Kap, and several other mobile quarterbacks on Madden is that they only gave Cam an 85 for speed. I think Kap is up to 89 and RG3 is 92, but was 93. Cam has just as many breakaway TD runs as anyone else. There is no reason that he should be an 85 for speed. I think Rodgers is like an 84 and Luck is 82 or 83. I enjoy playing football games, but fug Madden and everyone who plays it.

    • I don't know about you but I have been a life long Chiefs fan for the past 4 years.
    • Sure there's a ton of transplants in Colorado now. But as far as Denver in particular goes the Broncos have also been around for 65 years. Someone moving to Denver is going to be far more likely to become a fan of the Broncos and even attend games versus someone moving to Charlotte and the Panthers. Like I said it's not just one single thing with us it's multiple factors.
    • He's definitely getting better. It's fun to watch.  I've been getting killed for this take, but with the current state of college football, it just takes more time to develop a quarterback. I don't think it's a plug and play position anymore. I'm really not sure if it ever was. NFL offenses have always been substantially more complex than the college game, and the college game has simplified even more in recent years. Many college teams do not have a physical playbook anymore. That's just not the national football league.  Are there freaks who have success from day 1? Yes, without question. But so many of those guys are runners, and so many of those guys tail off. Is Bryce ever going to be Josh Allen? Probably not.  What I am seeing is a guy with complete command of the offense. He's checking into things at the line, making adjustments, and making timely throws.  He goes to David Moore a ton, because Moore is a consistent route runner. Bryce knows where he is and when he should be open. I think the guy with the "super processor" needs to be comfortable in the offense in order to do the "super processing." He doesn't have elite arm talent, and he is small of stature, but if he makes the smart play consistently, and he's willing to throw the ball downfield and not make mistakes, like he's starting to show, he's going to be a starter for a long time in this league, and it's not a position I'd spend draft capital right now.
