If Dwill has another stellar year... does he holdout for a new deal?

I think if he has another stellar year, and once the Peppers situation is resolved 1 way or another, then he will get a new deal. Unless Stewart, and Goodsen look amazing then it may be tricky. However Carolina has consistently shown loyalty toward veterans of the team so I doubt we will let him get away if we have the cap room to keep him.

Will Witherspoon says hi!

I'm afraid that if he holds out, the front office will be satisfied with Stewart.

DeAngelo comes across as a guy that is really humble and honored to play in the league, and he loves being here in Carolina. So I don't think he would hold out, or demand a trade.

If he ever left Carolina only other team I could see him wanting to play for would possibly be the Titans.

I don't think he will. Then again I didn't think Peppers would be like he is, but who knows. DWill seems to have embraced the duel running back game with Stewart which makes me think as long as he's getting carries he's cool. I think we'll pay him.

i think we need to sign his to a Steven Jackson type of deal, so that his new contract ends when hes 28 then that way you can re evaluate his role on the team then. At that point tho I would think the balance of the carries would change 60-40 to Stew to DWill

Witherspoon was an aberration. They had a choice to sign Spoon or Morgan and they picked The captain of the D in Morgan. They are not in the situation with Williams. Stu is under contract for a while longer.
