The Superman film that never was (Thank God)

I remember keeping up with this a little (mostly on newsgroups) in the 90's. Excited then, now I'm excited it never happened. Long read but the pics and skimming some quotes will be enough to make you fall out of your chair

Never been a fan of Tim Burton. Hated his take on Batman. Christopher Nolan kicked his ass on that front. I laugh every time someone talks about burton being a great filmmaker.

But even with that in mind, my word those pics and that script are even worse than I could possibly have imagined.

I, for one, would have LOVED to have seen that movie. Not because I think it would be good or anything, but rather that it would be soooo bad that you just can't help but watch and laugh. That has some level of entertainment value.

Remember Mystery Science Theater 3k? This is the kind of movies that got blasted.

Nightmare before Christmas was awesome when I was a kid.

I wouldn't say he is or in anyone like Nolan's league but Big Fish and Beetlejuice are great movies

His style overshadows the actual material but there are some very solid productions in his career's work.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
