lol. Dude's right. Kemba's a scrub. We should trade him and Biz and our first round pick for Calderon. He gets a lot of assists!!! Herp derp. And Kemba will never ever get better!! This is the best he will ever get and he is garbage!!!1111!!!!

I don't think Kemba is a top 10 PG yet..YET! But he could definitely get there. He has a ton of potential and will become a great PG. And this isn't old school BBall anymore. You need all 5 guys on the court to be able to score. Assists aren't all that a PG needs anymore.

Seriously dude. Get outta here. You're probably a Lakers fan.

At the moment, I'll have to say that Irving and Wall are better PGs than Kemba. And look how much both of them are still struggling to get their team up there with the few.

No offense Chuck, but why should we even take you remotely serious? Stats say that Kemba is a top 10 PG, and that is playing next to the worst supporting cast in the NBA (by far -- we'd struggle to get more than 4-5 wins at this point with our non-PG's). How about instead of telling us that we are homers -- tell us why we are wrong and use statistics and back up your argument. I'll be waiting. I'm guessing your response won't be anything more than "noob, Kemba sucks", because you have no argument.

I'm not a Kemba homer. I am a big fan of him, but I truly believe that he is a top 10-12 PG (I base my opinions on statistics more than anything).

His stats may say he's a top 10 PG, but sometimes stats overlook at lot of other stuffs.

But go ask Magic or Barkley if they believe Kemba is a top10 pg, don't be dissapointed to not get an answer you was hoping for.

It's hard trying to debate in a Carolina forum. Go outside this place and ask the public for yourself. Don't ask Cats fans. Ask others. They'll agree with me. Not bc they hate Kemba but bc they won't be biased. Kemba is a good point guard but he ain't great. You gotta be better than good to be in the top10.

If the experts agreed with you, they'll be saying Kemba was the biggest All Star snubbed, instead it was Curry. And hasn't even heard anyone preaching for Kemba to be an AllStar; save the "Bobcats is the worst team" crap.

Barkley is the biggest idiot alive so I couldn't care less what he had to say lol. Magic was a much better player than he is an analyst. I see what you're saying though. I know plenty of non-Bobcat fans that think Kemba is top 10 or somewhere right around it. I'm also a Lakers fan and I for one know that a lot of Laker fans want Kemba to be their future PG. That's pretty high praise considering Lakers fans only want the very best. The only reason why Kemba doesn't get the media hype is because he is on the Bobcats, the worst team in the NBA in back to back years. It's like the Gerald Wallace situation... he developed into a very good player and had a stretch of a few years where he was a very high level player (you could argue that he was an all-star at ages 24, 25, 26, and 27), but he was only chosen as an All-Star once. When you are a player on a horrible small market team you just won't get media coverage.

Just to top this off -- stats don't tell the entire story, but they don't like. Kemba has played like a top 10 PG this year and you really cannot argue that. You can argue that his scoring is inflated because he's on a bad team, but one could turn around and make the argument that Kemba's stats are a bit deflated because of the same thing.

Yes I agree.

But like i said in the past, only thing is I think Kemba isn't that no.1 piece you build your franchise around. He's a piece you build around someone.

He's not Kyrie, Rose or CP3 who if he goes down, is going to hurt a lot of "w" in the win column. Atm, he's good but not great. I will not argue that he's a Top15-18 PG, but I'm not stupid enough to say he's a Top10 no matter what the stats say.

I agree that he's not Kyrie, Rose, or CP3 and not the cornerstone of your franchise. He's an extremely good 3rd option on a championship team right now imo. It's definitely not stupid to think that he is a top 10 PG. Pretty much EVERY stat says that he has played like a top 10 PG this year. I'm probably going to make a Kemba Walker thread here in a bit where I will give a detailed breakdown on his season this year and his progression from last season. I know that I can't change your mind, and I'm really not trying to as there's no point in trying, but it's not fair that he's playing like a top 10 PG, yet you can't acknowledge him as anything more than top 18.

Kemba's assists will go up when he has a scorer to pass it to.

That person is McLemore, who is the perfect match for Kemba's game.

I really like Shabazz more. His jumpshot isn't far off from McLemore, but he's much better at attacking the basket and has a wider variety of offensive moves. I also see Shabazz as being the better all around player and defender.

going to be interesting come draft day...I think bazz still has more to prove in the second half of

the season. He is going to be good though.
