Cam making the Super Bowl rounds: Rome, SVP, PFT etc.

The question is: Does he watch the games, or just reading off of a stat sheet?

Unless Rome is a cordial host, don't expect much from Cam. Cause if Rome goes after him with stereotypes and media BS (unless he wants Cam to defend himself), and Cam is calm, gracious and diplomatic, there will be no news.

Now if he tries to defend himself, he can say something that the media can/will use against him for a 24hr cycle before the Superbowl. Good thing today is Friday. But I don't think he would. LOL.

Here's hoping for a good football interview, and not some character defense BS.

We'll see?

Yeah Rome is one of the best national media guys IMO when it comes to interviewing and relating to players and "KEEPING IT REAL".

He isn't your typical ESPN talking head repeating the same garbage you'll hear on First Take or whatever crap they are trying to push at the mothership.

You can stream it online with the iheartradio app. I listen to it from my iPhone with that. It's free.

I think Svp starts at 1pm.

Cam is scheduled to be on at 3:15pm on Scott Van Pelt today.

Cam is listed as Rome's 5th guest today (whether that pans out or not). Russell Wilson, who was listed first, is on now.

And thanks for the perspective you gave me earlier on Jim Rome and Scott Van Pelt.

Ironically, out of the eight guest that SVP has scheduled today (including Michael Phelps), he felt the need to have Cam as the only picture promoting his show on his ESPN webpage. See all these guys (especially the Anti Cam ones), use Newton to draw eyeballs. http://espn.go.com/e...cottvanpelt2009

Van Pelt is in New Orleans, so if the interview is in person, then so is Cam (in New Orleans). That would explain how/why he's making the media rds, and maybe on even more shows?
