If Brett Farve Was Intrested In Coming Here

Keep this head case out of ours! We don't need the standard, annual soap opera concerning whether he's retired...or not...whether he's going to come back...or not...

The Hell with this clown!

I truly believe the only reason this guy is even considering returning is to keep addding to his consecutive start record. At best, Favre should be a back up somewhere. Actually, the best situation he could have had was to stay in GB as such, to teach and back up Rogers, but he's too selfish for that. He proved last year that he only has about half a season in him before he wilts, so it might be better to play him part time.

But not here..

Actually what I keep hearing is that he is going to Minnesota in order to get back at the Green Bay front office who let him go. They didn't want him but wouldn't let anyone in the division have him either. So after a year Favre is a free agent again and here comes Minnesota and gives him the opportunity.

Problem is that he has been a legend in Green Bay and guaranteed to be in the Hall of Fame. Going to Minnesota is probably most Green Bay fan's nightmare. He may get even but it will cost him among the fans who are livid that he would play for the enemy. It will surely hurt his popularity for what? They aren't going to win a Super Bowl with him at quarterback. So why risk all of that.

this came up last year and I said no because I really though we had some good mojo working in camp that a new QB would disrupt. I still think we have the mojo working and I don't think it will go away if Jake were to disappear but I still would not want Brett simply because I am sick and tired of Brett.

And also it would bring a lot of attention and you know how I LOVE FLYING UNDER THE RADAR...../sarcasm

I agree w/ what others have stated. Jake has always been a poor man's Favre.....but now bringing in Favre for one year would be like brining in a lesser version of Jake.

I wouldn't go quite that far. Not lesser. the same or better IMO but still NOT the quarterback MO that would fit our team's MO. How could having one inaccurate gunslinging primadona replacing a struggling gunslinging wannabe ever be positive?
