Panthers ranked 27th at offensive line per PFF

27. Carolina Panthers (9)

PB – 27th, RB – 23rd, PEN – 14th

Stud: As is often the case, it’s the ever reliable Jordan Gross (+16.4) who continues to get the job done, even if his performance in Week 17 was the worst we’ve ever seen from him. He may never be an elite tackle, but at least he’s more than a one-tricky pony.

Dud: There was a close competition but ultimately the inability of Geoff Hangartner (-14.5) to get any push in the run game meant he was the way to go.

Summary: The Panthers haven’t been shy about investing draft picks on the line, but with the injury to Ryan Kalil this year it fell apart. Amini Silatolu looked every bit the rookie, while Byron Bell isn’t good enough, often enough to be a starter in this league yet.

Please get rid of Hangman.

I remember last year when we cut Wharton I stated that guard would have to be our top priority to fill because Hangman isn't a starter in this league. I then got flamed mercilessly by Hangman's Henchmen. He's a great versatile backup to have around, but having him as a starter just isn't going to get you anything done.

My friend said the Jets were 3rd. Too lazy to confirm, but lol...

Well its a misleading list. For instance the Colts are ranked at 31, but they stated that the Colts' line was quite good in the run game... just not so good in the pass game.

IDK I refuse to believe the colts could possibly have a worse oline than us...

I've been saying for quite sometime that our top two draft picks should come from the BPA out of OL, DT, WR, and DB. I wouldn't put any bias toward any of these positions. Simply take the best prospect available from among these positions.

Honestly, once you get past the first three rounds or, you should be picking for pure BPA regardless of position.

But lets draft a defensive tackle!!!!

Yet, just last month in a thread about cutting Jordan Gross you posted...

Hahaha I love when kids post threads defending or hating on a player when they haven't looked at any stats or watched game tape.

The proofs in the pudding.

To which you then proceeded to pop off about Gross being terrible and needing to be cut.

Here, I believe this came for you:

The fug are you trying to say?

My opinion still stands on cutting Gross and drafting an offensive tackle.

My post about drafting a DT was sarcasm. So what the fug are you trying to get at?
